Rock Band Weekly: The Killers, Yngwie Malmsteen, Soundgarden, Lamb of God

Why should Guitar Hero World Tour be the only one to get The Killers next week? As previously announced, The Killers will also be available in a three pack on Rock Band starting Nov. 25. Harmonix keeps the DLC flood going with another nine new tracks to sing, strum and drum to ... ok, more like flick than strum, but you get the drift.

The Killers 3 Pack (440

"Smile Like You Mean It" (160 / $2)
"Spaceman" (160 / $2)

Yngwie Malmsteen 3 Pack (440

/ $5.50)

"Caprici Di Diablo" (160 / $2)

"TRed Devil" (160 / $2)

Individual songs:

"Jesus Christ Pose" - Soundgarden (160 / $2)
"Pretty Noose" - Soundgarden (160 / $2)

All tracks are masters and will be available for download next Tuesday for Xbox 360 and PS3. PSN updates on Tuesday next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Amen. Laid to Rest was my favorite song in GH2. I played that over and over again. So badass.

I love the song but the cover version in GH2 was horrendous IMO. I'll be glad to finally be able to play the real thing.

True, but the guitar part was fun as hell to play. Now it'll be even better.

I haven't heard Yngwie Malmsteen, but if he's the namesake for the longest streak achievement in GH2, the songs should be fun and/or difficult to play. Definitely getting Pretty Noose, at the very least.

Yes, that's him. A lot of other guitarists in the music industry, as well as many private performers, hate him on account of jealousy. His music is simply too hard and not composed of the same boring repetitive verses that most music his; he uses an archaic musical term called "melody".

I appreciate the fact that someone can do so much with their instrument of choice, but technical noodling still has no place in rock music.

Unless you are Eddie Van Halen...and even then...

I'm psyched that "Pretty Noose" is going to be available. That's my favorite Soundgarden song; much better than BHS and Spoonman, although not as well known.

I wish it was some older Yngwie from Rising Force or even some stuff from my guilty pleasure Trilogy.

Diggin' the Lamb of God. Hopefully they'll start releasing more of their stuff. I'm aiming for seeing "Blacken the Cursed Sun" cause that's a BA song.

Lots of Pretty Noose fans eh? Though it's a great song, I prefer Jesus Christ Pose, and methinks it'll be a fantastic-er song to play in RB. Either way, never any complaints over more Soundgarden.

Jesus Christ Pose is going to kill some vocalists. Chris Cornell can't even hit those notes anymore.

Seriously, I just... obtained Caprici Di Diablo... it has no vocals... and it's probably gonna be harder than Through the Fire and the Flames, Thrasher, and Jordan... seriously... Or at least as hard...
