How about when it's night and cloudy it's actually dark like it should be or do vault dwellers all have owl like night vision :|

You mean there is no day/night cycle in this game? Or does the sun never go down?

There is a very good day/night cycle, but he's complaining because the moon and and starts give off tons of light so walking around outside at night it doesn't look that dark. Your eyes would adjust so it's not that unrealistic, plus there is barely any light pollution.

I mean that when it's 3am and the sky is covered in clouds it's still as bright as if there was a full moon and a clear sky.

Also if you go in a building at night you see sunlight streaming through the boarded up windows but I can forgive that as a way of saving on storage space.

You could turn the brightness down. That is what I did. It is more realistic that way. Worked for me at least.

There is a mod to change that. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=422
Only if you're on PC, obviously...dunno if there are any PC users posting here.

Yes why was there no super duper BFG 9000 at the crashed alien scout ship :(

I think they missed a perfect chance for a in joke about some other game like Duke Nukem 3D did with it's "doomed trooper".

Damn, that's what I was gonna say. Only in jest though. :o

I would say...a weather cycle would be nice. But than if it rained, wouldn't it be radiated rainwater? That'd be a mighty inconvenience.

Maybe more facial and hair options? That's always nice.

That happened to me too. They should fix the animations. I love fallout 3, but the animations really could have been a lot better and worked on more.

You guys getting any freezing problems when you try to use the railway gun three times in VATS? I don't even use the railway gun because of that.

Check the Bethesda forums - LOTS of people have VATS freezes with the railway gun.

I haven't yet encountered any serious bugs (other than my box going RROD while playing), but there are some bad, even game finishing ones out there.

How about a fix for when you get stuck in a random place and cannot move because I can't even count the times I have been jumping around on ledges and I get stuck in a crevice of some sort. Also, maybe a more frequent spawn of .44 magnum bullets.

How about the things that actually need to be 'fixed'?

One, what Justin F said. There are parts of the game where you get stuck and have to reload to your previous save. Its mainly been rocks by building walls.

Second, every once in a while when I kill someone from long range without VATS, their body turns into random scribbles in the sky and seizures into oblivion and you can no longer find their body.

Probably not lastly but the only other thing I can think of right now, now and then the Pip-Boy becomes too bright and I can no longer read the screen. It requires restarting your system to be able to read your Pip-Boy.

Any other thoughts?

Which platform are you playing on? I'm using the 360 version.

Fix the NPC pathways. I hate coming back to Megaton to find that a important NPC is dead because they accidentally fell off the railing from above.

I still haven't been able to do Lucy West's mission because she decided to fall to her death. :(

Other than that I can't really think of anything that needs fixing if you get stuck you in a crevice you can usually just fast travel your way out, unlike in Morrowind where if you got stuck you were royally screwed.

I did the regulator perk and the person to talk to died, so I have all of these fingers and nobody to give me tons of caps for them. Pisses me off cause that was gonna be a sure fire income maker and bam, she's gone. Sucks. That kinda stuff is happening way too much.

In defense of these retarded glitches, in any real life scenario, people do stupid things and die all the time, check Darwin awards. Maybe they were going for realistic? Lame, I like to be in control of everything and everybody in a game. If I don't kill them, they should stay alive.

I doubt they did it on purpose. Why would they create something that makes part of the game unplayable? I could care less if it was just a random villager but when it's a important npc then that's a different story.

I don't remember any of this ever happening in any of the elder scrolls games so who knows.

Rain would be sweet, however, I think the patch may be just for glitches. They could add a weather pack for dlc, or maybe a pack of goofy cheat codes. I would like to see some vehicles and be able to use vats to set up stunts, then I could sit back and watch the mayhem unfold.

well sometimes vats glitches on me and gives off graphical errors like these grey box things. I hate when that happens. Also when I repaired some of the water pipes in megaton I went somewhere else. (to find the West relatives) when I came back my repair skill was 28 instead of 32! :( I had one more to repair. So I hope Bethesda fixes that.

You people are morons. A patch is for fixing a mistake or minor add-ons not fixing animations of characters or significant additions.

Some of the best humour in the original games was in the descriptions of objects in your inventory. It adds so much to a pack of donuts when you see that they are still "Fresh!(TM)". Also, I miss the pariah dog.

I don't see any big need for a patch..my game experience with Fallout 3 has been really awesome. It's not frozen ever for me, and yeah I've gotten stuck on one rock one time, but that wasn't a big deal. I just reloaded my last save, and since I save often it wasn't a big deal.

I'd second a Fallout 3 Premium theme, and REALLY like some Fallout 3 Avatar clothing.

The big request I have is the ability to fast travel at any point when not in combat. It's mighty annoying to travel somewhere (like the school, or the subway), reach your objective, only to have to backtrack out before being able to jump somewhere else.

My campaign is glitched at the end of "The American Dream" The convesation that SHOULD happen does not, hence I can't progress through the storyline. It's the next to last mission so I really really don't want to play through the game ALL the way again just to finish it and got the cheevos.

This makes the second game to have a game-breaking campaign glitch for me. TOO Human campaign is glitched too. Lame.

They need to completely overhaul the Tenpenny Tower quest, as the way it is, the only real option for a "good guy" is to avoid it completely as even the good karma path winds up very badly. And if you do what feels right, you wind up getting called a scumbag by Three Dog the rest of the game; often in the same report he calls you the best thing in the wasteland.
