This makes me wonder if there are any other hidden things like that.

I just wish they had included more clothes from the beginning instead of doing this unnecessary rollout thing they're planning. That and customizable clothing colours.

Or they simply should have let us choose the colour of the clothes, which can't be at all hard to implement...

I mean, they have it in Rock Band, why not Avatars? I could actually make my clothes look like my actual clothes! Also, I won't keep seeing people dressed the same as me.

Your brain probably unintentionally blocked out the last sentence because of the oddly played "u" in "Colors".

Just kidding, I love Canadians and other people that spell in the proper English way!

I don't think you have to highlight the hairstyles tile. You just let it idle. Also, why is the link to the Australian Kotaku site?

That was hidden? I didn't know that. I had the ability to change my hair color from the start but of course that might be because i left it idle for alittle bit before i changed anything.

actually, a little dissapointed with the beard set up... I mean, I have a mustache & long goatee, & sideburns..
had to settle for the plain goatee.. make's mine look like an adults only film star..

I hate the avatars. Even Miis are more in depth then these. It is imposable to make my avatar look like me.

They need more hairstyles! They don't have a none female curly hair style.

This works many times. You do not have to be on the hairstyles tile, any tile will do. If you do it a second time the tile will spin and the colors will be hidden again.

You don't need to spin, just idle over the hairstyles option.

Also, saying the Miis have more depth is just stupid, I'm not a fan of the concept at all, but the Avatars are far more customisable than the Miis, particualrly in terms of hair and clothes. The facial features are stunningly similar, to the extent that I'm surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit.

Your face was more realistic with a Wii because you can adjust the position, size, and spacing of the various facial items.

With the avatars, you use the default only.

I'm of the opinion that my Wii looks a lot more like me than my avatar. Partly due to the lame hair choices (short hair here, parted on one side, no bald spot at all) and partly due to the lack of facial feature functionality.

Thanks for keeping us posted X3F!

The girls need some chucks too.

Our shoe selection blows. I have yet to meet a female gamer who wears heels and strappy sandals.

Give us some cuter sneakers damnit!

Urgh I know...none of the female shoes match ANY pair of shoes I actually own. Considering how many shoes I own, that is saying something. I had to settle for the yellow 'pumps' which are identical to the 'ballet flats'...dear MS, those two kinds of shoes are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Yeah, the girl avatars definitely need chucks. Considering I know way more girls than guys who wear them, I don't see why it's not an option for women, but it is for men.

I was so mad when, after my boyfriend set his avatar up and showed me the chucks, I went and set mine up and found out there weren't any available for a female avatar.

Sexist clothing is sexist.

I think given time the customisation of these will be great, the only dissapointment I have at the moment is that my girlfriends female avatar can have a beanie but I cant.

If you want to have more fun with your avatar though get Kingdom for Keflings, makes them much more worthwhile and usable.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but within the Avatar creation/customization menus, clicking in the Right Analog stick makes your guy burp! Tilting his head up and down will alter the pitch or tone of the burp. Also, if you spin him(LT) or burp too much, he/she will get dizzy.
Hadn't seen this covered yet... Any more?

I'm glad this is hidden in there, my wife has bright red hair and the reds available weren't nearly bright enough. The hidden red is much better but still not quite enough.
Rare do quite like to hide things in their games so why not the NXE too? There is surely more in there.

Thanks for posting this. It already has all the pieces I needed to make ledger's joker(yeah every clothing piece, in the right color to boot). I was just missing the lime hair. And the one green shade it unlocks was the perfect one.

My avatar looks identical to the film version, well almost.

I think it's interesting that with the limited selection it has just the right items to make the character. No body else do it.
