Sony: LittleBigPlanet could have been #1 at a different point in the year

You don't understand, the internet. LittleBigPlanet coulda had class. It coulda been a contender. It coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what it is, let's face it. It was you, other games released in the same release window. It was you.

OK, so Sony UK spokesperson David Wilson didn't put it exactly like that, and LittleBigPlanet is pretty far from a bum. But Wilson did say that the game would have been number one on the charts during a different time of year. He went on to say, "This is an incredibly volatile time of year and the chart reflects that - November 7 saw 47 titles released on that one day alone including many big hitters with Christmas number one aspirations."

We feel Wilson's pain. Why oh why won't science invent other months besides October and November? Are two months really enough?
