Those Orange County cops, notorious gamers and are always trying to get their hands on the coolest gaming goods. So it should come as no surprise that after a routine traffic stop, an Orange County police officer took a man's Xbox 360 that was sitting in the car's back seat. Took everything, because he figured the Xbox was stolen and wanted receipt proof. In the end, it wasn't stolen (the dude has a receipt to prove it) and the Xbox has "magically" disappeared.
Our Orange County officer probably just needed his gaming fix, but he should know that you DO NOT mess with another man's Xbox ... ever.

Reading the majority of your posts is INFURIATING. Some people really like attention. Most people lie. Mix a little that with a lack of morals and you have a toxic blend of a person who will say and do anything to meet their agenda. For crying out loud, on the medium that most of you have exposure to - the INTERNET, which you are on right now - people go to great lengths to deceive.
I'm not saying that the guy isn't telling the truth, but I'm also not saying that the police did anything wrong, or ANYTHING to this man whatsoever! There's no proof! But people are so quick to jump in with their anti-government anti-law enforcement rhetoric.
"But OMG! He has a box and a receipt!" How about the people that have neither, though legally purchase items and have them taken from them. Or better yet, how about those out there that - with their box and receipt - swap out busted Xboxes to small chains who don't check?

Spends thousands of tax money on 'urban anti-assualt' vehicles because... well, no one knows why and is still trying to figure it out.
Then he spends thousands on over-priced high-powered elephant rifles... just in case they need them for escaped animals from any of our theme parks or our one zoo (a zoo which isn't even in Orange Co. limits). Because, you know, rampant animals is a constant problem where we live.
(I'm not dumb by the way, it's pork-barrel spending. Use up the money they have so they can argue for more in their budget the next year, yeah, I know...)
With that kind of leadership, how do you expect the duputies are going to behave?

He'll probably file a small claims suit and than get the monetary value of everything that was taken from the Department. Hell he could probably get a lot more if he wanted by filing a civil suit.
It's a damn shame it happened, but being a cop is just another job and no matter where you go there are people doing shitty work. There really aren't that many bad cops in the world, but they get publicize more because that's what people want to hear about. They don't want to hear about the good cops, cause that's not entertainment, that's not drama. Now I'm saying cops shouldn't be held to a higher standard or that the bad ones shouldn't be ran out (except Vic Mackey) I just think some people need to readjust their perception of them.
