I don't think playing L4D over and over and over helps me catch up on anything... :D

When you look at it like that then yes. LBP was too problematic from the get go. L4D is perfect and yes the most fun co-op game this year.

Super hyped sony game fails.
Not as hyped Valve game massively succeeds.

Go Valve!

But not Squeenix. suppose it's good for real gamers who want Chrono Trigger to acquire it without paying 60 fucking quid for the SNES version.

Get on it!

My god! The Wii lineup is incredible!!!

Yes i was just sarcasticly giving shit to my own favourite currently-available console. As much as the good games that have come out since launch are some of the best games i've ever played, in the last 6 months of 2008 its been dreadful. Probably a good thing, i have many PC games to catch up on like FarCry2, Crysis: Warhead, Dead Space and even Fable 1 and FFVII. I wouldn't mind hearing some PAL release dates for the 'Play on Wii' remakes. I'm looking forward to releases in 2009 a lot, but it seems so long away.

I'm actually in the process of finishing Tales of Symphonia for the 4th time, and i'm starting to see how blurry it is. Not blurry in the tradional sense, but more like a double-vision thing going on as you can see outlines of characters near them. I would pay anything and everything to see ToS remade for 'Play on Wii' on a single disk in proper 16:9 480p with Gc controller/classic support and the ability to read a save-file from a GC memory card and use that information (and rewrite it to the Wii). I don't wanna lose my 135hr save file lol!

None of the platforms have a really good lineup this week. I looked at the PC section and thought "damn, choice between crap and crap here" until I noticed there wasn't even a PS3 section.

Which is odd, I mean it's getting close to xmas now and yet here's a week where literally nothing good except a port of a decade-old game is here.

Only in some sad alternate dimension where Mario was saddled down by innumerable annoying friends and transformed into a wereplumber.

Unfortunately, I just made the mistake of Google'ing "mario werewolf" to try to add to my point. I ended up with a picture of Mario and Spider-Man kissing. What a sad world we live in.

The reviews so far are lacking, 7.2,8.0,6.7 etc.. But man they is this game fun, while the werehog levels are fun and entertaining the Day Time levels are nothing like I ever seen, it's just right you know, Best 3D sonic game so far but sadly nobody is going to give this game a change.

Btw don't listen to reviewers when they say the wii version is better, that version is terrible.

After reading that I did the same thing, stupidly assuming you were being hyperbolic for humor's sake. Unfortunately for me, I can never unsee Mario and Spidey lovingly caressing one another. Shit.

It still doesn't beat Secret Rings, and there are a lot of peripheral flaws that weigh the experience down, but if you don't own a Wii, then this is definitely the superior Sonic experience out there

I hope its an actual fun Sonic game. Last one I had fun with was Sonic Adventures. Why can't they make a Sonic Adventures 3, and fix the problems that were in the first 2? I'm sure it would be a pretty decent game.

I'm so proud of the Wii, no games this week that contain the word 'Party' or the letter 'Z'. Its a step in the right direction...

*gets all misty eyed

Speaking of the Wii, the little white money printing machine is back in my house, thanks to my wife. But this time its in the living room. I guess I'll finally get online and race some peeps on MK Wii, maybe DL an oldschool Nintendo game.

Speak for yourself, Joystiq. I've got Sonic and Chrono to buy this week. Good thing I just finished Fable 2, though I'm eager to jump right back into it. The ending was so... Bob the Goldfish. I laughed.

I still can't justify spending $40 for a game that came out a decade ago. The Square tax is getting far too ridiculous, even for them.
