American PSN Store update for November 25th

We know, it's hard to believe that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is finally available to purchase after however many months of waiting. That's not all that's included in this week's update, however. There's a Dead Space demo for those of you who foolishly passed up on this gem when it originally came out, a whole bunch of price drops on some great PSN games and the usual add-on content. Its live now, downloading SF2 right now and have pixel junk eden in the cue and the trophy whore in me got linger as a side bonus from all the excitement of this super street fighter tuesday.

Getting all the trophies is hard, but getting to and beating the final stage is fairly easy. Plus it's a blast to play even if you don't finish it... especially with friends.

well i got the new lbp costumes and it would not let me download them, i got error.. after i already paid...lol

i called sony and after making me disconnect my modem and reset my ps3 to default settings, reset my network settings trying to download again they tell me its a server error with too much traffic try again later... the guy before that asked if i could take my ps3 to another location and try... wtf PSN ID= Sancho45

had the same problem with the free sackboy. if you tried to download in the store and it gives an error, exit the store an go to account management then to your downloads

I love the prices, hard to pass up. Maybe if Sony launched psn games at the these prices. More people would be excited and willing to give them a try. just a thought. BTW SF2 is a fair price I guess. only because its an old school fav.

... or at least made the price drops permanent. Retail games drop in price over time to hook people who are somewhat interested, but reluctant to pay full price. DLC should be the same.

I know I'd buy more PSN games if they were sold at lower prices.

p.s. I may have to get echochrome at that price. I missed the deal on flOw because I was (and still am) waiting for PSN cards to be available (in Canada).

Today is a special update day in honor of Thanksgiving.

Since the usual Thursday update falls on Thanksgiving, they moved the update to today (Tuesday).

Thursday is Thanksgiving. That's why we're getting the update two day early. They did this last year too.

Im also having the same error message when i try to download the dead space demo. but im in the uk. is it possible that there is some kind of regional lock on it that prevents downloads from outside the US? isnt this game banned in japan and germany or something? it might explain the need for regional locking

I don't think region is the problem. I get the same error when trying to download the lbp costume and dead space demo. I was able to download the LOST S4 trailer with no problems though.

Is the Last Guy worth getting -- even at $4.99? I had mixed feelings after playing the demo.

All right. I'll definately be getting that Dead Space demo, the Sackboy Chimera costume, and Pixel Junk Eden.

Wahoo! Best update ever! I was going to buy Last Guy and Echochrome soon anyway!

I'm in the US and want the dead space demo and LBP costume, but I keep getting that error!

I can't wait till Dec. 4 when people will be all pissy that they didn't buy the game in time for the sale. Anyways, I'm glad I didn't buy Novastrike yet as now I can get it. I think I'ma still stay away from Commando 3 and Last Guy though. Anyone hear anything about that Brain Challenge game? SFII is a definite buy, just not yet as I'm sorta strapped for cash.

anyone know if there will be a resistance 2 demo? or a saints row 2 demo (i know its sandbox but mercs 2 did one, even tho it was shit lol)

For downloading Dead Space Demo, and LBP turkey costume (free).

I keep getting the error as well when trying to download the Dead Space demo and the LBP costumes. Maybe too many people are flooding the servers. Im not too sure. Someone should ask about this on the ps blog.

Due to the American holiday of Thanksgiving (AKA TURKEY DAY!!!) or to me.. Pumpkin pie day.

How come nobody included me on the memo about how the store update day was going to be on Tuesday this week?!?!?!

I really loved SF2 back in the day, but never played turbo. After playing this version, I can't say i recommend it to people who weren't into the speed of turbo. Playing sf2thdr on a joypad just doesn't recreate the experience of playing the original in the arcade or on SNES. The single player mode is a LOT more challenging, even at speed 1.

Where is the Far Cry 2 DLC??

SSF2T HD Remix is awesome. I'm surprised how many moves I still remember since I haven't played since the SNES days
