Street Fighter HD delayed for European PSN

North America is still expected to get the title today with its special Tuesday edition of the PSN update (due to the Thanksgiving holiday). European Xbox 360 owners should still be able to pick up the game when it launches on XBLA tomorrow.

Europe gets screwed like this far too often. On the bright side, I'm in the USA and will playing this game tonight!

I'll likely be on semi-late (maybe 10pm CST). I'm going to a movie tonight so I won't be online until after that. I'm a big fan of the SF, but not really exceptional at them, so I'll likely go down in flames, but it should still be good

I'm no SF champion myself. I just want to play to have some good fun. I'm also in CST and will probably be on around 10-11 for at least an hour. If I see you on I will hit you up.
What movie you going to see? We are going to see the new Punisher movie first week of December.

It's not really "delayed" because it never had a date in the first place. And it's par for the course for these games to come out late here due to SCEEs complete incompetence. But if it's the same 2 week delay that Age Of Booty had then it's not too bad. Any longer than that is taking the pi55

Im beginning to agree with you too. They did this on fifa 09 (although im not that much of a geek so i just bought it!) and gran turismo even thought you could buy that too. The point is why are we always screwed. Id love nothing more than to be kicking ass right now.
Sony dont have many good games on ps3 yet and delaying games is not helping

The PSN usually seems to update in the late afternoon... often shortly before or after 5pm CST.

I was looking forward to today, came back from work. turn the puss3 on....and wait...NO HD Remix??? lol, opened joystiq page to find answers and what do you know!! we brits get bumped. i really don't understand how it's coming out on 360 tomorrow in uk but why is it delayed on PSN?? ps3 joypad is far more suitable for this game and should be out here too.

This is very strange.
It can't be a technical issue, because it's releasing in the US, and it can't be a legal/rating issue, because it's releasing on the 360. So what exactly could have gone wrong?

This happens with most European PSN games, we don't get them for weeks.

It's just SCEE displaying their usual incompetence and disinterest. It's not as if they haven't had time to prepare and fit the title into their already not-so-crowded release schedule; SF HD has been delayed tons already so everybody had plenty of leadtime. But SCEE appears to be woozy from being newly awakened out of their slumber/stupor and hasn't prepared at all it seems. What else is new?
