I guess it's because they need to translate the application to every single language in Europe. I don't get why Sony insists on spending time translating to swedish for example. We're quite capable of reading english. Microsoft doesn't do that, they just translate to german, italian, spanish and french. The rest of Europe does know how to speak english! Just release it!

It doesn't take more time to translate additional languages. Of course, every language has their own translator so they can work on all languages simultaneously. Ok, maybe it takes more time to test, but I think that the hold-up is caused by SCEEs extreme lameassness.

Because it's a NEW version of Street Fighter II genius. Tons of gameplay tweaks that totally change characters, and it's the new tournament standard plus it has online. And it's cheap.

Anyway the US store is SOOO much cheaper than the EU one so no harm done. Soon I'll only use the US store and my US account anyway. Poor job Sony!!!

Find a nice American willing to buy a PSN card for you and send you the code (after receiving funds from you of course, usually via paypal). There are lots of people on Neogaf offering to help us Europeans with this dilemma. Personally I'll wait until it's out over here. I have plenty to play in the meantime, especially with the ace wipeout HD patch.

Well i'm not too worried about the delay- after all it's still the same old SF we've been playing for years. I could be wrong, but since there is no public holiday this week in the UK, us Brits will prob get the same service as usual this week- ie sometime on Thursday afternoon.

No, right now Pay cards seem like the only way to get stuff US PSN for us Euros.
Although my Entropay card still works, a lot of the new joiners say it's stopped working now.
So you joined Entropay in August you'll be ok. :/

It's FLAT OUT unprofessional. If this were a Brick and Mortar situation, that game would be available at midnight on release date. Would you tolerate these kind of delays if this were a physical package release? I think not.
So no I will not CHILL OUT, COOL IT, or any other such thing. I bought MY PS3 because I wanted to get my hands on SF and all its iterations.
If you say something will be available, then make it available.

No, I wouldn't care if a B&M store had a product delay. And getting paid on time is just a tad bit different than being able to buy something on time. I love how pissy you get about a game being delayed though. Man, I hope you're younger than 16.

Yeah it's live on the US store now, but I'm still gonna wait for PAL release.......btw the SF mp3 Remix downloads are....well they're shite, well for Street Fighter background music....IMHO.

Well I downloaded it from the US store, registered a new account with a random adress in America, and using my Visa World Card and it worked. So If any of you people are desperate to play this game, thats the way to do it... And to be honest, for real SF fans, this is a MUST HAVE!

There are over 30 countries in europe and they all have adapted to the game and just had to learn the nglish terms in a game.
So basically there are 3 countries in europe who screws and delayes releases for the rest of europes gaming-comunity, and i think it is time for Sony/Developers to start thinking what the hell they are doing.
Players of all nations adapt to a game and not the other way around.
