The Doctor

yes yes I know that...I was being SARCASTIC but apparently it is nearly impossible to use sarcasm in any post on this blog.

Your question was does he know what he is talking about...the fact that he claims you the PS3 does NOT have Divx when in fact it is the ONLY Divx certified console on the market proved that he....stay with me now Good Doctor....NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

Ok Tina?

It looks like Spider-Man 3 is still locked out for me... is that another one of the exceptions?

Pssst... Both sides can use Netflix. PS3 folk use it to rent Blu-rays and 360 folk use it to stream in HD. It's really okay to enjoy movies whatever way you get them.

Once the Columbia pictures are in "HD" via Netflix, then I'll care.

Because the standard definition that you've been watching your entire life somehow isn't good enough for you?

C'mon, HD is wonderful and all, but it's not as amazing as they'd like you to believe. Sure the picture looks sharper, but it's not like it's 3-D 2160p 120 frames-per-sec magical wonderment that Best Buy wants you to think it is.

When I go on netflix only like 1/20th of videos on there actually say I can add them to my instant queue. Is this just a probelm for me? Or are other peope having it too? And if evryone is having it, whay hasn't it ben brought up yet? I mean, it kind of defeats the purpose if I can have maybe one out of 20 movies that I would like to see.

Christ, I hate it when you guys do this. This post is about the Columbia pictures/Netflix fiasco. I'm interested in seeing peoples thoughts on the issue and including mine, not reading the same ol back and forth BS argument that has been going on since before the consoles even released. They all have their merits and downfalls, but who cares.

Joystiq should consider deleting offtopic posts, thus giving killjebus something better to do with his life than be Sony's one man army. Now read my on topic post below!

When Columbia first pulled their movies from the Xbox's list, I was livid. However, before thrusting myself into the heated debate on what a huge conspiracy it was, I thought I'd give it a week to see how it would turn out, Netflix is after all pioneering a new entertainment hub out into the mainstream, so I understand if it takes them a bit to iron out the kinks.

What really sucks is the fact that the watch instantly feature through netflix is absolutely barren. Not just on the Xbox, their entire library. I've put movies on my list that I'm not that interested in watching, but included them because I was desperate to utilize this new feature.

So until the kinks DO get ironed out, I guess I'm stuck watching documentaries. *sigh*
