i just want to say that i am so proud of these two men to take on the challenges before them so boldly. i mean, to take a grown person with downs and another with a methamphetamine addiction and have them create something this in-depth is amazing. bravo for your progressive thinking. bravo.

@daniel it was just a joke, brother. the interview is actually pretty awesome. i wish more people would just give real answers like these two. my comment was more about the screenshot chosen to head this article. you gotta admit that it's no glamor shot!

Hey close to the target render or not, the first one looked alot better than most of the half assed games I had to choose from when the ps3 launched.

These guys look like they spent their first royalty check on an ounce of cocaine (which they snorted in its entirety right before filming this interview). Hope they live long enough to create Motorstorm 3!

I love these guys. Straight talking, no nonsense Sheffield attitude. I just hope their next game is more in a genre I am into, because I'd love to support Northern England FTW!

This gen of console gaming is evolved. We dont want CGI in our games or advertising our games... this is the change.
we no longer look at CGI as the wow factor... the wow factor comes from amazing real time in-game engines that are so spectacular that we have a hard time figuring out if its in-game or cgi cutscenes (MGS4, GeoW 2 both come to mind)

I am not really a racing fan so games like this do nothing for me. But I will say MotorStorm really looks good. Evolution really have a NICE engine and I would love to see what else they could make. May be some kind of Strategy game or an RPG would be pretty cool.
But really any thing would be cool and good because to me I want to see what else Evolution can make.

Its absolutely absurd.... I remeber this story surfaced a few weeks ago and the guys at Evolution had said that when Phil Harrison saw real time M1, he laughed in their face and said they were the worst exclusive developers to bring a game to the PS3. Funny considering it went on the be the top selling game on the system! Sony owes a great deal to Insomniac, KojiPro, AND EVOLUTION. Whos laughing now.

Motorstorm was hands down the best offroad racing game when it came out. A game that gave you all the different types of vehicles with an unbelievable game engine and great graphics was not something I had ever seen before. Motorstorm 2 is a great next step. With all the extra additions it is easily the best racing game on the market. With that said, I don't really see an improvement with the graphics. I wish they would have done more to improve them. Now, don't get me wrong. The graphics look awesome, and I had rather have a deeper experience than a polished pile of crap. Motorstorm is gritty, adrenaline pumping, lunatic rage infested fun ... and I love it. Buy a copy and unite with the lunatics online. There is nothing like winning an online race in Motorstorm.
