World at War double XP weekend for collector's edition owners

So i get punished for shelling out $60 and not wanting the CE version with "fancy coloring book". Maybe I will have to learn the under the map glitch to rank up quickly like some others.

I have been playing in the "Officer's Club" and getting double XP all this week already...

I don't see that going over well with the other owners of the game. To me that got FAIL written all over it. Whoever thought of doing this should find a new job.

This has been going on for the past week, do we get another week as well then?

Everyone who bought this glitchy, buggy pile of crap should get double xp until the game is patched again and all the problems are ironed out for good.

Just find someone who has a Collectors Edition, and party up with them. That is what I did.

They're discriminating against other people that bought the game and are playing it? Slap in the face, seems like.

Why is everyone complaining?

The people that dropped an extra $20 are getting something extra to make their money's worth. If you just play the game and not worry about who is higher level than you, you will end up with the same stuff anyway (I don't have the LE and am already 65 anyway). If LE owners got a special god-mode cheat in MP I'd speak out, but a double EXP week? lol?

It's smart business on their part

don't need the CE to play in the officer's club, you can "join session" into one of the games or have a friend with the CE invite you.

I guess the $60 I paid for a sub standard manual and a plastic disc wasn't enough. Does the CE version not spawn you right in front of an enemy as well? It's lame as this game requires WAYYY to much time to rank up as it is and having to prestige to unlock more stuff is crap. It's a good game but not that good.

What a bunch of crybaby's. If you wanted the week of double XP you should have bought the LE version. Quit your whining. You had the chance to pay $20 extra for a worthless "canteen" and semi-worthless FG42 just like the rest of us.

stupid decision, just going to promote customer backlash. Glad I haven't bought this game, CoD4 was ad is enough for me.

With crap like this I don't see myself picking this up for xmas either.

I hate idiot devs/publishers that pull crap like this. I include those who charge money for little downloads that could have just been included with the game in this category.

If a game maker wishes to exclude part of their customer base that is their choice. My choice is to exclude my money from their customer base.

Basically, they paid more money, so they get all the cool luxury's, which is to be expected. True its a business game and somewhere on the net, i'm sure they advertised it would only be for CE's but that won't ever make it any less lame.

Its just a huge shame, that if you bought the standard edition, even though you too were supporting the game, giving them your money, you can't enjoy something that they could have easily given everyone.

I find thisa very funny. At Call of Duty headquarters, all the CE people are complaining that the "extras" aren't enough an dthey were ripped off. Here, I find all the Standard edition people complaining that they are getting ripped off too. WAKE UP PEOPLE! It was VERY clearly stated that the CE came with the "bonus" canteen, FG42, Colored Clan Tag and an exclusive week of Double XP. IF you want it, pay for it, if not, then DON'T. It was your CHOICE, up to you which version you got. It's so dumb to say "Just because they paid more money than me, doesn;t matter. I want double XP so I should get it!" You do realize how much you sound like SPOILED BRATS??? Just deal with it!! You went the cheap route, so you get what you paid for. Those who paid extra reap the "benefits" This is so simple. Please.... stop... whining...now. Thank you.
