Damn it, I could really do with another DS3. Why doesn't Black Friday exist in the UK. I too want crazy cheap deals and have to battle people on the shop floor! lol

I don't know, at least you can choose to brave the elements in a battle for bargains lol. Do you guys really queue up before the shop opens like in American TV shows?

It is really sick. My wife, mom, aunts, sisters, etc. All start mapping out their conquests on Thanksgiving day ( while the guys sleep and watch football ). Then the ladies head out at about 4:30 am to get in line. They will split up at this point and each go to different stores with a specific 'bargain' to get. At least they don't make me go!

That's crazy man, I really hope the bargains are worth it. Do they have crowd control set up or something? The riot police in every store? lol

Yeah, I have 2 normal 6axis jobbies, and one of them is "iffy" - must add that it survived a pint of cider being spilled on it! - But the L3 click is "touchy" and the PS button sticks.

I want to get 2 DS3's, so that i've got 4 controllers total, for friends on LBP mostly, but they're hella expensive over here (UK).

I would buy at least 2 at $30 (£15) but i reckon they are more than double that here!

Yeah at least that! We so get ripped off they're like the £35 ($55) over here. I need another DS3 for LBP too. I've got 1 DS3 and 2 sixaxis but it's either another joypad or another game and the game always wins out lol

Same with me, Game or DS3 is a pretty easy decision, but it always leaves you still needing a DS3. Might just bite the bullet after Xmas.

Come on Jan sales!

What with the poor exchange rate at the moment you are looking at £20 + international shipping costs (if they even do that) which makes the £30 ones here not too much more...

Well if I come across any decent gaming bargains in the UK for the PS3 I'll post it on my Gadget blog (http://gadgetsgamesandstuff.blogspot.com) and tip PS3Fanboy. So far the cheapest place I've found consistently is shopto.net they're especially good on pre-orders. I got Resistance 2 three days early and for £33 :)

Those of you who still have Sixaxis controllers need to get yourself at least one DS3. The only reason Sony started with motion control was because of the Immersion deal.

The DS3 is built out of a better quality plastic, it weighs more so you don't feel like you're holding air, the buttons are made out of a rougher plastic, and the D-Pad is tweaked so you're not able to hit left and right directions while pressing up/down hard enough.

In short, get one. They're worth it. Did I mention Rumble support?

the only problem i see with DS3 is that the sixaxis sometimes stucks and you have to hit it...its not that sensible as the sixaxis. Also the rumble make the sixaxis a little bit crazy its not like you cant play but when jumping in LBP and it starts rumbling you can see the head move up and down not that hard or noticable at first but it does. Also the battery last less they should have put a more high capacity battery in there. But i have to agree that the DS3 is a must buy

speaking of deals, i managed to get Dead Space at half price today in Gamestation.

Don't know how long the offer is on for, but £24.99 for a brand new ps3 game cant be bad.

Now we just need them to do a similar deal on DS3, they cost a fortune in the UK :(

For those of you who missed the RadioShack online deal and still don't want to have to wait at the store tomorrow, amazon.com has DualShocks for $40.96.

Well I placed my order when they were still in stock early this morning. And just now received a message that they were canceling my order.

Way to Radio Shack.

My Radio Shack only has 1. One!!!! I was third in line to get it. The guy said they're supposed to have 2, but couldn't find the other one. Not that it would do me any good. But c'mon, a whole ad touting it, and only having (supposedly) two in the store???
