I'm thankful of pathetic blog commenters who care more about their videogames than their friends, family, or wellbeing
i love a good laugh

Apparently you like laughing more than reading. From the article

"But we wanted to have a place for you, the Joystiq Biomass, to commune with each other and share what you're thankful for in gaming this year. It can be a developer, a favorite game, a new mechanic, anything"

Sharing anything else was optional. Don't ridicule people for following directions.

Thats funny, usually when someone follows directions they get called 'sheeple' by people like the commenters here

I'm thankful for great RPGs. I've played the hell out of Fable II and Fallout 3, and I am looking forward to playing the hell out of Chrono Trigger again soon. I'm also thankful for Valve. Steam is so awesome, and so is Left 4 Dead.

I'm most thankful for family, a job where I've become strong and productive, amazing friends, and a vision for the future that God blessed me with (a goal style vision, not the spiritual experience vision :).

God's blessing spring forth in times of trial. Frustration and difficulty are what refine us into the people we become. In these hard financial times, let us praise God for the trouble as well as the success for we know that he is purposing things out for the good of those who love him.

Just the words of a meager hypocrite striving for service. Have a happy Thanksgiving and I pray for blessings to you all.

I'm thankful for games like Braid and World Of Goo. They prove that with effort and a good idea, you don't need a big company to make amazing games.

In regards to gaming, I'm thankful for... Halo 3? I dunno. I still play it nearly everyday and I still am enjoying every bit of it. Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful that my country doesn't have any of this being thankful as a national celebration nonsense so we can continue with the long-standing British tradition of being cynical, snarky and pessimistic.

sorry for the book:

so today is turkey day, and there is nothing i would like more then to not spend the day at the inlaws house, or so i thought.

this morning started earlier then my morning's usually do as 14 of my friends and myself decided to start an annual tradition of going on a ride thanksgiving day morning. we all met up at 8:00 at the local starbucks and hung out for about 45 mins waiting for all the people that slept in late. we took a route up through the berkely hills to a spot everyone calls "the wall". the wall is basically a memorial spot for riders who are no longer with us, it basically looks over the entire area from berkely oakland all the way out to san francisco.

so as im talkin with friends and being bummed about having to go to the inlaws today I start to go over and and check out the little memorial site's around the wall and start remembering the good time's i had with a bunch of these guys throughout my riding carrer, when all of a sudden I start thinking about a couple of brothers i know who just lost their older brother. davy and ahoria are part of a notorius club named the east bay rats, but the club isnt really notorius in a bad way as there all really good people. well the brothers actually lost their older brother in a tragic moto related accident just a month or two ago.

so i got to thinking how selfish it was to actually think that today with the inlaws was going to suck when the fact is at least im still here to be with my family. it hit home pretty hard and i had to walk away from our group of riders for a few minute's. some of the people being memorialized at the wall were really good friends of mine, they were there during my worst times and my best time's and it kills me to think about what there familys are going through on a day like today without there loved one's.

riding home was a very sobering experiance to say the least, we had already been pulled over for doing triple digit's in a 50 zone and the cop gave us a break and didnt write us up but on the way home i just couldnt bring myself to speed to get home quicker which is pretty hard not to do on a 180 horsepower beast. I took a easy slow pace all the way home.

I guess my point is to be thankful just to be alive, I know alot of us are having hard times right now but things do get better and im sure it will for everyone.

any ways happy holidays to everyone and have a good turkey day

I'm thankful for my nice shelter under this fine bridge. I'm thankful that I'm making a nice living on the tolls people pay me to cross this fine bridge. I'm thankful the local children have stopped throwing rocks at me because it's to cold to play outside right now. I'm thankful that I was able to snatch up some newborns just before the weather turned cold the other day.

Above all, I'm thankful for my loving family. I'm so glad to not be born into a family of nutjobs that despise each other.

I'm thankful for my friends (online and offline) who have been there for me.

I'm thankful for the fact that I live a pretty good life. Aside from a few monetary issues (ugh, student loans...), I don't have any real worries. I've got a roof over my head, clothes on my back, and food in my belly.

I'm thankful for all the fun games I've had to play on my Wii, 360, PC, DS, PSP, and all previous systems I own.

I'm thankful for the clever and witty bloggers of Joystiq making me laugh every now and then...
... Though, I'd like them even more if they'd get rid of the obvious trolls and haters. Ya know, to make Joystiq a nicer place.
