Awesome! It looks like they used voice actors for the game too!

It would make my day if someone could show me a link that shows official confirmation that this is coming to the US.

Looks quite pretty, and there's some potentially interesting game moments there. Indeed, 2009 is looking better and better for the Wii

Finally, I loved Klona 2 and never got to play the first one so this will be awesome. It will also be my first wii purchase since Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Another gay exuberant anthropomorphic protagonist dubbed with five year old voice actors, as a 'core' gamer -.- I am not looking forward to this, especially as it is a generic side scroller. But, I do see it's appeal and think its a good addition to the Wii's arsenal, though the 'core' market is still being hugely neglected. I haven't bought a game for my Wii yet.

This comment is so wrong on so many levels that the only way I could think to respond was to remark on how stupid your comment was.

Thank you for such an intelligent reply, you have successfully stated nothing. In future it could be suggested that you should actually say what your problem is rather then just winge.

"Another gay exuberant anthropomorphic protagonist dubbed with five year old voice actors"

-So being homosexual is a major problem in any game for you? I hope you dislike any sort of squadron/teammate shooting game-- undertones abound!

-Wait, a small cabbit would sound better if voiced by, say, Barry White?

"s a 'core' gamer -.- I am not looking forward to this, especially as it is a generic side scroller."

-I think you mean "as someone who doesn't enjoy platforming titles and moronically believes SHOOTAN GAEM = core". Or otherwise "i don't get what a core gamer is, but i'm gonna self-apply it anyways".

-...For that matter, Klonoa isn't a generic platform title-- it's actually more like a puzzle-platformer, since it requires you to utilize both environment and foe simultaneously.

"I haven't bought a game for my Wii yet."

-Sometimes it's not the "core"(as you call it) being ignored, but the "core" ignoring the games.

Perhaps you should read my post again, pay attention to context.

I will however specify my definition of 'core' as I understand that it is a dynamic term, my opinion is from a heavily western stand point.

Yes shooters fit in to the category IMO, not all but most. The Platformers and RPG's such a Final Fantasy and Spyro I would even say Warioland is in the pile, others include GTA, Saints row, Assassins creed etc.

To my understanding the core market consists of a late 20's early 30's demographic who are looking for in depth mature titles.

Not core would be every game I've borrowed for my Wii.

I'm not saying there aren't any but there are few and far between.

Great that's more then I wanted to write, anyway while I'm at it I'll clarify that I had initial distaste due to the anthropomorphism.

All that said I will play this game and probably enjoy it, reread my first comment if you can be bothered because you were way off.

And Spyro is not anthropomorphic? To each their own, but please don't try to pretend that you represent all of us core gamers. Obviously there are quite a few who appreciate Klonoa. As one who has played this game on the PSone, I can say it's a true gem and FAR more challenging a game than you probably expect. It even includes a well thought out story! In any event, I do hope you check it out at least. Maybe you'll hate it, but you won't know unless you try.

I've fully enjoyed every Klonoa game I've played (never did play the first one though). I look forward to this.

...words can't describe how much I want this.
I LOVED the original PS1 version, but don't have it any more (it belonged to my bro's ex-girlfriend, so ~Poof~ it went away) and haven't been able to find it since, so this has me REALLY excited!

The graphics look GORGEOUS and I'm really loving how faithful it is to the original even with the upgrades. The only thing that bugs me is that Joka now has limbs when he's small... I liked him with floaty hands D:
