It would be astounding to me if they screwed this up and didn't get it out before Christmas.

Still waiting on news about compatibility with the GHWT drums. According to reports on the RB forums, all GH guitars should be compatible (as they work with the AC/DC track pack, and the GH3 guitar is officially confirmed), but no one knows about the drums.

My purchase depends on this. One set of instruments, that's it, I've decided. The delays make me hopeful that they're working on this, so I don't have an issue. But I'd like to be playing it on Christmas morning...

I agree. I mailed both Vicarious Vision and Harmonix about it, but never got a reply.

Yeah they better be compatible on the Wii too.
I got GHWT as the drum is simply amazing, I sure hope i will be able to use it with RB2.

And why releasing RB2 on December 16?!
its such a late date...

From what I've read, I can only assume that the RB Drums will be compatible with GHWT and visa versa.

Whether they are referring to the new drums only or not is unclear.

The big question is, when the bloody hell is the new wireless hardware going to be released in Europe......
