Amazon's 2008 Cyber Monday deals

In case your wallet isn't hurting enough from this weekend (or you simply decided to take the frugal route with Black Friday shopping), Amazon has unveiled their Cyber Monday deals, which starts tomorrow at 3:00AM ET. While no way as exhaustive as its weekend specials (which, like the new deals, last until Tuesday, December 2 at 2:59AM ET), there are a few steep discounts worth noting. Fable 2 and LittleBigPlanet are $40 each, and Spore is being offered for only $20.

We've posted the full list after the break. Be sure to also keep an eye on GameStop, who has its own specials starting at midnight ET tonight.

Hmm that Fable 2 deal's looking pretty good right now. Still not sure if that's enough to get by my fears of it being as disappointing as 1, but it's a hell of a lot more enticing now.

I actually just beat Fable 1. It was Lost Chapters though. I didn't think the game was disappointing. There were just a lot of things that were suppose to be in it, that weren't.

I beat Fable 2 twice. I would highly reccommend it. If you enjoy RPGs, it is one you don't want to miss.

I think they really hit it right this time. And plus at that price, really, no reason to pass it up! :)

That's it? Nothing compared to Amazon's black friday list (ended up paying around $110 for two Frontman Wii guitars, two PS3 controllers, three wireless Kama nunchuks, a Wii Ethernet adapter, and Mortal Kombat vs. DC (PS3)... god knows how much those would have cost on their own). Cyber Monday my arse.

Meh, that DS deal isn't bad. Pink isn't my thing but I'm sure one of my relatives will enjoy it.

Thats what I'm leaning towards right now.

Used the Buy 2 get 1 free this weekend at Gamestop to grab Guitar Hero World Tour, Rock Band 2 and Far Cry 2. Was an ok deal when you add in the extra 10% discount. Yet I was hoping to get LBP in that deal, so this is a must buy.

nothing that interest me, but I bought Okami at Amazon during their Friday gold box offer for $14.95; haven't played before but I think if I only looked at the art and design in motion this would still be an absolute bargain, plus I hear it's pretty good to boot :) I did miss Boom Blox for $20 at Target, they were out of stock...and Lips is not cheap enough yet, for the Mrs. of course...

Same thing happened to me. It is my understanding that since these are limited deals, they will not.

I just paid $30 for PS2 Sonic Unleashed, and they go and reduce it to $10 less than 15 hours later.

In the end, I saved a hell of a lot on other deals, so I'm not that upset.

They need a redo on the $20 PC Left 4 Dead. I checked Amazon about 10 times throughout the 24 period on Friday but somehow missed that deal because I didn't check between 3 am and what must have been 3:02 am. I simply thought the information on Joystiq was wrong because I saw no source link and never saw that price on Amazon. But then a friend later that day told me he got it.

Me too. I grabbed Dead Space from Target and got Rainbow 6 Vegas for free at Game Crazy. Dead Space is probably one of the scariest games I've played in a long time. They've done an amazing job with the sound and music in the game. It reminds me of the freakiness of the movie Event Horizon.

With the amount of money I spent the past few days, I cannot get myself to get Fable2 or LBP, the two games I really really wanted and haven't gotten yet. Oh well. I got plenty else to play until my stuff is paid off, and I guess it is a good problem to have.
