It's a point & click adventure game done by former Lucasarts employees. Should be worth a look..

Re: Chain of Memories for me. Persona 4 next week! :D

As if I don't have enough RPGs to play...

No sympathy here. I've just started Chrono Trigger (DS) and have Persona 4 on reserve as well.

And I never got a chance to finish out Persona 3: FES or even start Blue Dragon...

Being an RPG fan is cool because there's tons of fun games, but at the same time it's such a time suck!

That's why I haven't played RPG's in recent years...when you find one with interesting characters and you really connect with the story, it's SO DIFFICULT to put it down, like a good book.

All the same, I'd love to take a crack at the Persona titles.

Haha, I've played through CT like a dozen times. I'm breezing through it right now on the DS. I'm also working on Blue Dragon, just finished disc 1.

I beat Persona 3, but never FES. I have Odin Sphere and Wild ARMs 5 that have been collecting dust along with my PS2 for a few months now. So many games, no time to play them all.

The good people of Britain should be sure to order their copy of Prince of Persia from Play.com, for all the extra goodies you get for free.

Eh, you don't think Ubisoft has banned reviews below 9.8 from coming out until a month after release date?

I want a review of the Nancy Drew game (Wii version). No, seriously, I really do... Leaving that aside, Wii does have Mushroom Men and SPRay as 'possibly decent, possibly not' games this week, which is an improvement over most weeks.

It is basically the last week of good games until SEGA and Capcom start releasing their Q1 reserves into the wild, but its not like anyone is wanting, right?

A good sendoff between Prince of Persia and Mushroom Men anyway

All good citizens have already partaken in GTA IV? Damn, I guess I must be a bad citizen who prefers to wait a little for precision controls, higher definition graphics, no pop-up, much better frame rate, no load times and a -$10 price difference. Call me crazy.

Thinking about King of Fighters, in point of fact. I have no idea why I'm on such a drive for fighters lately. Hopefully it supports the Classic controller (I don't see how it couldn't). KH is going to have to wait until I get through some of the big RPGs I've picked up in the last few months-- I mean, finish writing. Still not finished just yet (maybe another 4 chapters).

Aw, c'mon, not even an honorable mention for Mushroom Men Spore Wars? I mean, Prince of Persia is the bigger title and I'm getting both MM and POP, but it most certainly is more excitng than any Destroy all Humans game.

I want Prince of Persia reviews, dammit. I can't finalize my Christmas list until I see some.

Ubisoft is entirely capable of getting PoP horribly, horribly wrong, as evidenced by Warrior Within. (The odds of this being another WW are slim, but I'm taking no chances. xP)

Ubisoft decided that more people were put off by the weak combat of Sands of Time than drawn in by the atmosphere, so they replaced the Tales of the Arabian Nights theme of the SoT with this horrible Godsmack crap, gave the sand creatures blood for some reason, turned every female character into a giant whore (including the random female enemies who say everything short of begging you to jam your sword right up their naughty areas) and rushed it out the door without being assed to actually play test it. If you go through a certain kind of portal without hitting the switch next to it and save your game, the next time you'll load, spoilery things will happen and you won't be able to continue.

The other two Sands of Time trilogy games were great, but Warrior Within almost made me skip The Two Thrones altogether. It was like a weird Screamo version of Aladin.

And you know what? With the "improved" combat system, I still basically stuck to the same two moves I used in Sands of Time, only this time I didn't have to finish the sand creatures off with the dagger.

Despite a lot of people's complaints (maybe it was expectations?) I actually enjoyed Warrior Within more than SoT. I liked what they did with the story, I don't dislike the Godsmack/hardcore imagery, and though it certainly had some flaws, it is the one game in the series I've played 3 times (while the other two I only played once).

To each their own.
