Update: New information care of Game Informer, which has "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" as its cover story. The game will revolve around Marco Polo's voyages and includes new free climbing and -- gulp -- "stealth" gameplay.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves teaser released -- now with snow!

Assuredly, one of the biggest complaints about Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was the lack of precipitation in the form of ice crystals, mainly of theintricately branched, hexagonal form. In a 30-second teaser trailer for the now-revealed Uncharted 2 (via GameTrailers), developer Naughty Dog has assuaged that concern by proving once and for all that Nathan Drake can exist in a frosty tundra. Don't believe us? See for yourself (video is embedded after the break). As hinted by the trailer, more information is expected during SpikeTV's Video Game Awards on December 14th.

I loved the first one. One of the many reasons was because of Greg Edmundson's score. This is the guy who wrote the music for Firefly. He's an amazing composer and really helped give the game a great since of wonder as you played it.
Plus, it's pretty.

Okay, just watched it.
Dunno what to say about it, really. The first game was awesome, so I assume this one will be too. Trailer doesn't give us much information.
Also, what is it with Naughty Dog characters getting a beard and an emo-attitude in their second game?

That reminds me of a scene in Crash: Twinsanity where a farmer says somthing along the lines of " I've got worms in my garden again! If you can get rid of them, I'll give you Oooune Power crystal." Then Cortex stuns him and takes the crystal and goes "what? this isn't a game."
Yeah, I dunno why I typed that out either.

I still think Uncharted is the PS3's best game. Mind you, I haven't played LBP.

Damn I can't freakin wait for this I just hope it's not a year and a half away. We all know Sony loves showing games off years before they're ready.

Also, here's hoping they update the cover system and animations with the Eight day's system. Make something good come from that game being cancelled :(

Good to know. I don't need to wait 3 years for this like I did with Killzone 2.

Love Uncharted, no doubt that I'll love Uncharted 2.
Anyone else think it looks like Nathan found the knife from the '94 The Shadow movie?

Woo I love me some Last Crusade, it's my favourite Indiana Jones movie simply because it has Sean Connery in it. That man is awesome.

YEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!.

Drake seems to have bulked up a bit and grown a nice beard.
And watching the trailer, it seems something happened to make him bloody (look at his left, our right, cheek).
OMG! Did not expect this at all.

His left cheek? How about the gaping wound under his shirt that bloodied up his left thigh? He has definitely been through some hard times to wind up in the mountains.

Blood? The guy is almost naked in the middle of a storm, he has tops 10 minutes before he can take his own ear and eat it as a frosted chip.

Thats cos the demo sucked.
Once you've played through the full game you are left with a warm, fuzzy feeling, and a desperate need to know whats next for Nathan and Elena.
Certainly a game with legs, i still recommend it to new PS3 owners.
DAY ONE!

No, it's just because it's an old enough game there is no point for the trolls to bash it anymore. They're currently hammering away on Little Big Planet and Killzone 2. In about 8 months, it'll be safe to like Little Big planet in certain company as well.

I loved Uncharted, though sadly I have not finished it yet...too many good games, and not enough time. I will say this for Uncharted: It's the first game for my PS3 that I actually enjoyed picking up again and again after I got it. :-)

However...
Nathan Drake carries an insane amount of badass points. Even if he was in a viva-pinata esque gardening game, he'd STILL BE A FUCKING BADASS!!!!

he is complaining because he's hurt. Notice the way he holds the side of his body, his slight limp and the fact that he is bloodied.

I think he was dropped off, beaten, or something crashed and he was recovering/found the object.

There is blood on his hands, forearms, leg (and in the snow) not to mention his face.
