Well, we're past the worst of the holiday blitz, and we've come out on the other side with only minor cuts and bruises. But though Prince of Persia may be the major release this month, there are still a few possible gems, including Rise of the Argonauts and Persona 4.
Also, with increased wiggle room, we've been able to add a few titles just for our own enjoyment. Read on, savvy shopper, read on!

yeah that's what I thought too, I'm kinda worried about it now. I'd heard that in recent test plays by other sites that it was kinda buggy and could benefit being pushed back a bit. It looked like a real quality game and I'd hate to see it suck just so it could be rushed out in time for the holiday season.

Heard that. I'm still out $120 USD for Prince of Persia and Argonauts though.

Can anyone tell me what the combat is like in Rise of the Argonauts??!?!? I have been following it, I'm interested, but I can't find out if it's turn based, hack and slash, or whatever.
Anyone?

Well, you'll be interested in knowing that "customers who bought this item also bought Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009."
No, really... not sure how, but look: http://www.amazon.com/Calvin-Tuckers-Redneck-Jamboree-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B00182QCZG
Who the hell is Calvin Tucker, anyway?

They also bought the Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader game. Any idea whether they are or not?

According to Google I'm Feeling Luck, Calvin Tucker is co-editor of 21stcenturysocialism.com and a freelance writer, as well as holding down a day job. I find it hard to believe.

Well it doesn't shock me that the same crowd that likes a Jeff Foxworthy game show also like a redneck game. That joke just writes itself.

I played through the PS2 version of the game, and enjoyed it tremendously. After finally getting around to playing one of the God of War games (Chains of Olympus), my original suspicions were pretty much confirmed: GoW is Rygar with blood and boobies.
Of course, you can expect some horrible story and voice acting out of Rygar, but none of it gets in the way of an excellent action-adventure game.
Dang, now I'M tempted into playing through it again.

I'll rent prince of persia this month probably. It's way too easy and short to spend $60 on.

Anyone else notice the big grassy deer type thing looks a lot like the Forest Spirit from Princess Mononoke?
