Why can't I have just a plain black zipper hoodie?

And why the hell does my dude look like a chick no matter what!?

Only unibombers and other outcasts wear hoodies citizen. NXE refuses to permit you clothing freedom. Obey.

Aw don't complain... Yay for free stuff!

But more importantly, check out that sexy man-beast that is Kyle Gass in the background! I'd have his butt-baby.

And also, why can't I just set the color of clothes!? Really, they may someday release the perfect pink hoodie only for me to not be able to select the color I really want.

Lame, 4 items per gender. The male beanie is the best male beanie yet though. Gloves and boots are meh, and the jacket is cool, but everybody is gonna be wearing it.

I was wondering that too. I thought these things were a way to express ourselves, so that would seem counter intuitive...

@ Christian

In some respects yes, but facial / body size and features are still more customizable for Miis. In my opinion, likelihood is you can still get a more acurate rendition of someone with Miis than you can with avatars.

Please don't turn a lame issue into flames folks, please.

lol

How old are you?

For all the useless shit you can dress them up with, Avatars still look more soulless and worlds less diverse than Mii's. Try to figure out why that is. Then think about why your statement is retarded.

Dude, seriously. You can't ask somebody 'how old are you?', talk about Miis being superior, and then call someone retarded.

Good god, what'd I just say in my previous post?

Well maybe I was in a particularly vindictive mood. I didn't call him retarded though, just his statement, if you noticed. ;) Lastly, if you look at the timestamps, you and me almost posted at the same time.

That said, I'm just telling the truth. Mii's allow for much more personality than the Avatars (which seem to be stuck with one and the same facial type), yet the latter try to make up for this with superficial fashion nonsense. Pretty metaphoric, isn't it?

With that in mind, I just can't help but question the mental age of anyone considering the Avatars superior.

That good enough for you, sir? ;)

Dude, you're going right into my forum signature. Arguing about how "mature" or "retarded" someone's opinion is about Wii vs. Xbox 360 avatars is just epic.

I think that was one of the features that was discussed when the NXE was first announced.

Strangely enough, I've noticed more and more people talking about unlockable gamer pics in recent games.

A lot of arcade games have had unlockable gamerpics lately, yes. The original Banjo and Nuts and Bolts both have two that can be unlocked.

I think it's pretty likely that this sort of thing will be replaced with avatar clothing in the future.

I want a Banjo backpack. :(

I already had the boots from before the NXE was launched, but it's nice to have them selectable again. After it updated to the public version I had them saved to my avatar but they weren't listed anymore, I guess they were saving them for this minor update.

FYI imperialists, its summer for a couple of Xbox 360 users right now.

It's not even cold for a lot of 360 users IN the US, you dumbass. Do you think all of the US is in need of snow gear in the depths of Winter? It's quite nice here in San Diego, as it is in much of the US. It's goddamn AVATAR CLOTHES, settle down. It's just a novelty, not a statment of US imperialism.

FYI, moron, you're a moron. Imperialists? Go eat a mitten.

I think that at one point Bethesda hinted at the idea of an unlockable hazmat suit as a perk for beating Fallout 3 or something to that extent.

Would be awesome if they could link those achievements to perks like more outfits or unique items you can only aquire by beating certain games.

I'm sure it would sell more games than some people realize just having that tiny little boost. Hell, I was excited when they announced an unlockable Altair for Prince of Persia... sure it works differently but it's a nice touch to urge me to get the game all the more.
