You may have missed the Hellboy II BD-Live chat, but we're pretty sure you're not going to want to miss this one. Christopher Nolan, director of the summer's blockbuster The Dark Knight, will be part of a Blu-ray exclusive "live community screening." The registration process for this event is a bit cumbersome, and it's also limited -- so read the instructions carefully! The two disc BD set will be available on December 9th.

It's movies like this that are going to make blu ray grow even more, when a person walks into bestbuy and sees how good this movie looks on their setup they can't help but consider the upgrade.

sweet! I just pre-ordered The Dark Knight on Amazon.com. I'll be looking forward to this unique feature and hopefully many others. :)

Gosh! I hate The Dark Knight! I hope it sells low for they can release it on HD-DVD. Then people will finally realize what format is really superior. Blu-ray's not that good anyway! Who needs that many gig's anyway? More gig's doesn't mean it's better, it's such a waste...ugh! ;)
Seriously, this Blu-ray is going to be awesome!! :D

That's cool but a lot of people probably won't even get this till Christmas... so it's worthless for them. For me, I don't buy anything for myself in November or December in case someone else will buy it for me for Christmas. If they don't then I'll go out and buy it myself. Unfortunately, I will miss out on this.

Way to alienate everyone who's getting this for Christmas, which I imagine is a fuckton of people!

Just got mine in the post, can't find any mention BD-Live on the disc(s).
And the site doesn't let you register if you're in the UK.
The UK not getting BD-Live content? =/

Big disappointment. Just an annoying scrolling text bar obstructing part of the screen filled with the same 10 stupid questions all night by the incompetent moderators. Surely with tens of thousands of questions rolling in over the course of nearly three hours, we could have done with fewer repetitions of "how much did Heath improvise?" and "what made you decide to shoot in imax?" An utter embarrassment.
The only redeeming moment was the revelation that Nolan was unaware of Nestor Carbonell's previous work as Batmanuel on 'The Tick'.
