Only a few people can claim to be experts at any game. In the world of Forza Motorsport 2, Project Blackjack are experts. One year in the making, The Rising Storm showcases some of the most incredible precision drifting we've ever seen in any game. The team of twelve gamers from around the world compiled the nearly 10 minute montage in hopes to showcase what they call, "The Art of Drifting." We think of it as, "The Art of Insane Crap We'll Never Come Close To Doing."

That's impressive, though it runs a little long. Better music would've helped. Still very impressive though.

I would argue drifting takes considerably more skill than traditional "racing".
Drifting has a lot to do with racing.

hmm, I would say drifting requires just as much skill as racing (to do well). They are just very different. I'm not really a fan of drifting, but I respect the awesome skill required.

That was really fun to watch and the music was perfect!
I am going to have a fire up Forza 2 , it's been a while. The game still rocks, not like the unbalanced bumper car style that is Gran Turismo SERIES hahah
Can't wait for Forza 3!

The physics on GT4 and GT5 Prologue are much better. Watching this, the cars seem to be sliding around to much, the momentum is carried too easily into turns. Go search youtube for GT5 prologue drift videos and compare for yourself.

Hah, spoken like someone who hasn't actually played Forza 2. Try playing the two side by side. I was a longtime GT fan and wanted Prologue so to not suck.. but right now at least Forza 2 is the best sim racer on consoles... Perhaps instead of watching videos you should actually play both games? Unless you'd rather be a console fanboy, then by all means, please keep telling us how GT5 is the superior title. I assure you, those of us that have both games will just keep laughing at you.

I especially love the realistic damage model in Gran Turismo.

I like how the cars in GT5: Prologue bounce off each other so realistically.... and I also like its innovative driving-line system that actually tells you when to throttle and brake! So revolutionary! Its also an amazing deal because for just $40 you get less than half of the content of a full-driving simulator.

And in Forza 2 the damage is very realistic, because we all know that hitting a wall at 100+ mph will only take your bumper cover off.
GT will always dominate the Forza series, you simply can't compete with designers who have been at this game for 10 years. GT will always be the REAL simulator. Forza is just another NFS game.

Awesome video, incredible skills, and amazing game footage. I own Forza 2 but haven't even had time to unwrap it. This video makes me wanna play tonight! But I know I suck at racing games. But from the video, I have to admit I'm more amazed at this game footage than any other racing game footage I've ever seen. Sorry GT5, but the bar is high (take your time!!!).
On a similar note, if I were a director for a low-budget racing movie, I'd seriously consider cutting costs by using the machinema from this game. There's some clips in this video that are incredibly realistic.

Pretty amazing video. That's really, really hard to do if you have a controller or even an official 360 wheel, but if you have one of those wicked 3-screen setups (so you can see out your windows as you drift without relying on a stick which, by the way, doesn't make it on a wheel) with a horrendously expensive wheel and you can do all this drifting in real life, I would think that it gets a bit easier.
Still, kudos - Forza is an awesome series though, the last true serious racer. Forza 3 is going to pwn something hard (so long as they manage to throw a Tesla Roadster in there, I kid I kid... will be awesome with or without it XD)

OMFG, I think I just came. ;-)
I've had my fair share of game time with Forza, and to see what those guys did with the game - awesome. "Normal" race driving is hard enough, but to a) drift like that and b) do it with several people at the same time, that's just beyond cool.
Makes me want to play Forza again :)
