So what the hell is Ozzy advertising? Once it pops up I just close the window because every time I see it I click close and nothing happens. And before you say "ADBLOCK PLUS!!!", shut up. I shouldn't have to install add-ons to view a site properly.

I know dude. That shit is really getting on my nerves. And then it's not like if I can just close it. The damn thing still stays there after I close it! So I have to open and close the browser and hope it doesn't come up again.

And I have adblock plus and it doesn't work on ads that take up the whole screen.

So I go to upvote your comment, and then I get this full screen ad about some pen! I click close, and it just moves the close button out of reach and makes me watch this video, I click close again and it does the same thing! WTF joystiq this is insane!

Come on, is it really that hard to take 30 seconds out of your day and remove ALL annoying advertisements from your web surfing? That's the only way I could browse this website without going insane.

@ToRo-Are you using any filters for ads? I have not seen any of these full screen ads on my visits. Try going into AdBlock Plus and applying the USA filterset (assuming you're in USA)

I've found just hitting refresh takes the ad away the fastest.

I user several computers throughout the week (depending on where I'm at) to read Joystiq and not all of them have adblock.

Why don't I ever see these ads? I'm not using Adblock, just Safari on a Mac with "Block popups" turned on.

I hope Team Ninja or Namco can snatch it up, FIX EVERYTHING, and release it as MK: Rebirth.

But that would be a waste of everyone's time.

Midway would work well as a subsidiary to a larger publisher anyway. They have a few good franchises that could help one of the big boys (Ubisoft, EA, and Activision) fight against each other

Nobody wants to buy Midway as they are, because the majority of what they make isn't worth looking at financially (or else they wouldn't be in such trouble), but someone could buy them and gut them down, leaving the Mortal Kombat team and perhaps one or two others intact

Wasn't it only two years ago they were doing well? I know someone back then who was working there. Didn't battle stations do well? I know they got bonuses for all employees.

Is MK vs DC really no good?

Giving it to anyone who can at least improve the animation is a step in the right direction.
