PSN Thursday: Free Qore; Portable Stardust, Everday Shooters
It's a free episode of the wait-isn't-this-stuff-just-promotional digimag Qore! But don't fret dear subscribers, y'all still get the benefit of an exclusive Flock demo ...
Okay, moving on. In other PSN news, we've got an unpronounceable shooter, Soldner-X: Himmelsstumerrmurmursumthinrathur ... but we prefer the less perplexing -- and now portable! -- versions of Super Stardust Portable and Everyday Shooter for PSP. And who could pass up the "Lingerie Girls" Theme? It's like your mom's Victoria's Secret catalog in -- yowzah -- 1080p!
Head past the break for this week's full lineup -- or check out the European update over on PS3 Fanboy. We swear, you'll find something to buy.

spencermsh @ Dec 4th 2008 7:32PM

Markez @ Dec 5th 2008 2:28AM
@ Spencer
Either you honestly don't get the joke, or honestly think it's funny to act you don't get it beside it being obvious? Neither are funny.
Pic brings back fond memories, too bad the place flooded to the gills recently :(

Everday shooters? Nice typo, James Ransom-Wiley. First inflammatory, ant-Sony posts, now this. Let's strive to be more like Ludwig, Chris G or Justin, shall we?

Ridiculing nonexistant cosmetic flaws in a beautiful woman. How masculine.
(The Award-Winning) dark_inchworm @ Dec 5th 2008 10:01AM
They move a lot in the video... I sure as HELL hope that's what you're joking about.
Sora @ Dec 4th 2008 7:09PM
Finally! Some PSP releases!!!
If you had to choose between SSP and Everyday Shooter, which would you pick?
Ayrkain @ Dec 4th 2008 9:53PM
I like Everyday Shooter more, but YMMV.
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread - XBL: SoCoolCurt) @ Dec 4th 2008 10:27PM
i prefer Super Stardust myself. i just wasnt any good at Everday Shooter, just couldnt get past that level with the robots and eyes. im tinkin about buyin SSD for my PSP now, that thing needs to be dusted off anyway.
AkmGamer @ Dec 4th 2008 7:26PM
How about chairs.
j.howlett @ Dec 4th 2008 8:18PM
only after tables and ladders
Rhamsey @ Dec 4th 2008 7:30PM
damn i love her, but i hate how she moved to qore. i remember the old cnet (i think it was cnet) and the youtube how to videos she used to do. whats with her hair?
meh, anyway, back on topic, thats all that qore is? thats like MS charging for major minute (crap, i hope they didnt hear me)
spencermsh @ Dec 4th 2008 7:36PM
Qore is alright. I've seen a couple of episodes but I don't think it's worth $25/year IMO.
Tez @ Dec 4th 2008 8:06PM
Yeah, she did Buzz Out Loud on CNet; then Mahalo Daily, which wasn't necessarily how-to videos. She was definitely at her best on BoL, where she was free to rant about whatever she wants. She seems too confined in Qore.
But at least I still get to look at her.
Deaddy @ Dec 4th 2008 7:37PM
They're trying to hook us on Qore by giving us a free taste, but you don't even get to play the Flock demo unless you're an annual subscriber? Just give it to everyone, jeez.
Jimmyjimjim @ Dec 5th 2008 12:51AM
Let me remind you that the core features of PSN are already free....
Asking you to pay for premium content isn't much to ask.
sk8monroe81 @ Dec 4th 2008 8:02PM
what i dont like about QORE is that you have to download the file and install the file before playing..
being a 1 gb file on PSN, its more of a hassle to watch, than the enjoyment from it.
(i have watched QORE 1-4, free with my mag sub.)
just streaming would be nice like inside xbox.
Tez @ Dec 4th 2008 8:07PM
It's a hassle if you sit there staring at the download, I guess. I always just load up my download queue and let them download and install automatically overnight. No need to have it RIGHT NOW! The content's not going anywhere :P
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Dec 5th 2008 2:28AM
Quick trivia: that bridge behind her is the Pont Alexandre III in Paris (I used to live there).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pont_Alexandre_III
My question is what she's doing over there.
GenBanks @ Dec 5th 2008 10:05AM
hehe, I was wondering the same thing, you beat me to it
philmcphail @ Dec 5th 2008 4:48PM
Who here was tricked by that Lingerie Girl link?
Deck @ Dec 5th 2008 8:24PM
Still don't understand why people would pay for Qore.
All it is, is advertising.
