The ads for Let's Tap seem designed with one objective in mind: convincing us that anyone and everyone can get into the game. You too can tap like a champion, and all with a smile on your face and epic music in the background (provided you're a spiffy, cheerful Japanese person). This latest commercial manages to pack a surprising amount of that anyone-goes attitude into only fourteen seconds of video, and even if you're not impressed with the game, you should at least admire that sort of effort.

So, question... Does the game come with 4 boxes for placing wiimotes on, or what? Do we have to provide our own? Is it possible that different box shapes, sizes and thicknesses might put some players at an advantage? Will Let's Tap box-modding become the next big wave in Wii history???

Wow... This game totally flew under my radar. I mean... I remember when this game was announced a loooong time ago, but i completely forgot this game existed until now. The way the game is played, by tapping on a box or whatever, makes me interested in how sensitive the Wiimote is. I decided to look at a past trailer for this game and there's that running and jumping one, and it seems the Wiimote is good enough to sense the difference between taps on the side and the whole "slamming the box with both hands to jump" thing. I hope this game doesn't have sensitivity issues. What if some morbidly obese guy starts walking on a floor above you while playing the game and shakes the house/apartment/wherever you play the Wii and it registers as a "tap"?
Oh well... This concept looks pretty dang fun.

I think I'll pass on the concept of tapping a box to play a game that looks like it was made for my grandma's atari. I think the wii has become the dream machine for every crappy game idea ever! Its sad when something that looks like shovelware is getting passed off as a real game.
