I'll keep you guys posted. I currently have scientists in an underground secret underground lab constructing real Sackboys. Its hard to reformulate the DNA to work with Burlap, or any other material, and have them live(Longer than seven minutes, especially with no organs), but so far, we seem to be going in the right direction.

Well, they somehow have voices... We have our underground lab scientists underground in our underground lab trying to figure out how thats possible.
Also, they are really loud. They all just scream for help, and when nobody does, they all close their mouths and blow really hard. Sadly, they don't blow up into little pieces of cloth like in the video game... Quite messy.

I hate the "knitting is for Grandmas" type comment, BTW. I am young and I knit -- and I've crocheted since I was 7. The demographic is all over the board and has NEVER been just a "Grandma" thing. Nor has it been just a female thing.
That said, I am glad someone published a pattern. However, as cute as theirs is, it doesn't quite meet what I have in my head - and one of these days I'll get around to making my own version.
