How bout buy or make your own, so people who seriously play SF don't get stuck with a worthless controller destined for eBay a week later.

Seems like all the stuff packed in here is worthless. Who the hell would buy this? I'm sure youtube will have all the vids for free. Figurines are stupid. Costumes are for people who play with Barbies.

So nobody would be interested in a soundtrack? Or game guide that could teach you advanced game tactics? And surely I'd rather watch the whole anime on my 42" HDTV than on a scrawny YouTube window in multiple parts.

Oh, and the arcade stick would bump the CE's price to $150, easy. SFIV has some hype to it, but it's certainly not to the level that would justify it charging Halo 3 CE prices.

What's wrong with Hori? It's probably the best stick brand out there.

No contest, PS3 version hands down. I'll be pre-ordering this one as soon as possible. The Ryu figure does it for me.

Then I have to get one of those MadCatz SF4 controllers (probably the gamepad as the stick just doesn't do it for me - I grew up on the NES and Genesis, not at the arcade because I lived out in the country).

So does PS3 get Ryu and 360 gets Viper (not Chun?!?!?!?!) ? I can't tell. Or does 360 get both figures and just no trailer dvd?

Do want!

I have been 360-less since the NXE release day... RRoD...

And I can't find a Jasper Elite... Gears 2, Banjo and Dead Space are there, sitting on the shelf.

I hope I can get my Jasper before the Holiday Bundle ends.

Actually... my 360 got the Error 74 since October. I sent my 360 to the repair center (my 1 year warranty expired in November).

So, I bought Gears 2, Banjo and Dead Space one day before XNE. I updated, and created my avatar and everything... was playing Gears 2, then I wanted to try Banjo. And the picture looked very bad, very blurry. So, I restarted the console and the ring appeared.

So, MS fixed my console again, and I put an add in the newspaper: 360 Elite, with four games (Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Forza 2, Disney Cars and Arcade Unplugged). 350 dlls.

Sold it first day.

But I can't find a Jasper Elite. Just Pro and Arcade Jaspers.

Well, since I only own the PS3, I lucked out on this one. Ryu and trailers are better than Crimson Viper and no trailers.

Well, I probably won't be getting the Collector's Edition anyway. Otherwise I'd be upset about the figures. I just bought my 360, don't make me start regretting not getting a PS3 instead.

If a tiny plastic figuring is what has you questioning your 360 purchase, you might as well sell that shit right now.

Hey Jake, some people like to... what's the word I'm looking for... oh, COLLECT stuff. I know if I had the money to throw around, I'd have both, given that there are a few differences (which I really hope does not turn into a trend).

This is being sold for £70 in the UK, which is double the price you guys are expected to pay for it. I seriously hope that isn't the final UK price, even if both of our versions come with the trailers/movie and figures.

I'd much rather have a Ryu figurine than that psycho bitch Viper. I also don't care much about the trailers, but that anime makes me giggle.

i dont know what to say to this am happy to know we are getting something like this but at the same time confused as to why its broken down in such a way, why can they put both figures and trailers, i mean the trailers are nothing but those figures and collectibles chances are capcom knows that and thats why they did this in the US only?

also anybody know if that soundtrack is a real one or a sample, cause if its just a sample i see no point to to pay for all that extra i could just download it some where if i really want it(hate how Chrono Trigger bonus soundtrack only got 2 songs important ones but still only 2)

Yea it's real epic. I just can't get used to using the 360 controller's shoulder buttons for punches and kicks. I miss my Genesis six-button controller. :(

This is how I configure my controller when it comes to SF.

Top shoulders are mid punch and kick

X and Y are Jab and Fierce punch

A and B are short and Long kick

Just works better like this for me.

On top of tempting me to get the CE of SFIV now, I plan on getting one of those madcatz SFIV gamepads for any and all 2D goodness on my 360. Here's to hoping the d-pad on it turns out great!

Yeah, the 360 dpad worked ok for me in SCIV, and havent had too many instances where it got wonky and messed me up, like in bionic commando. Still it's too bad it wasn't released early enough for HD Remix.

I had bought Hori Fighting Sticks for my PS3 from Wal-mart in March 2007 randomly for $50 each. I finally got a chance to use them with the new SFII HD but it really wasn't fun. I would prefer the 6 button control pads I had w/ my PS2's SF collector's edition. Or maybe I just need better joysticks.

Sticks are only good if you're used to playing with sticks; if you've always played with pad, then you should probably stick with pad unless you plan on relearning the game with a new controller.

The Japanese arcade game already has this feature. When you collect enough in-game money from fighting, you can "purchase" alternate costumes that are downloaded to a personal data card that tracks your stats like wins, losses, etc. So this is nothing new for the game.

The two figurine deal is quite disappointing, why wouldn't they just give us the same offer as the Europeans? Lame. Also, Viper is nice and all, but I'd rather have a Ken figure.
