great, i'm supposed to be getting this for Christmas. by then every little prick with too much time on his hands and a shitty sense of sportsmanship is going to infest L4D and ruin the experience before i even get to enjoy it. then the patch, which has to go through MS's slow-ass approval system, assuming Valve even decides to patch the 360 version, and it'll be next summer before the game's playable.

Well, it's really not that bad right now. I have yet to come across it myself...but with every gaming site picking up the story I'm afraid that it will get worse before it's fixed.

And I completely agree - it's gonna suck waiting for patch approval.

What's this?! The easily readable post which stated the *Xbox 360* version is being modded is ignored by an obnoxious commenter?!

What is this idiocy?!

Erm, the 360 version also runs on the source engine . . .

I'll keep reading the blog posts, you read up on the tech.

How about you read up on the tech? You're the one suggesting that the Xbox 360 versions of Source-engine games are as easy to mod as their PC counterparts.

In summary: fail.

Not completely true. It requires an unbanned keyvault (the NXE banned all known public ones), access to your HDD, a knowledge of STFS and a hex editor...or you can do it like this guy and use some app someone else wrote to do some of it for you.

In Source games, if you get into the skybox, any model, skin, or whatever is out there is made really large to those still in the play area.

The Giant character models are quite cool, I wonder how easily they can move around?
