The game disappeared off my radar during the Holiday season. Anybody get it? If so, was it any good?

I tried the demo if that helps.

I didn't use a mic because I would have had to yell into it to issue orders.

It seemed fairly standard.

Same here, i was stoked for this one earlier this year, but it was completely buried in the game avalanche recently.

Will the publishers learn and stagger releases next year? We can only hope.

They're really going to charge $10 for an add-on to a game that nobody bought in the first place? Good luck with that... Maybe free DLC would entice some people to buy the game. Just a thought.

"I tried the demo if that helps."

No, that doesn't help anyone, actually.

There's no need to yell into the mic. You spend a couple minutes calibrating voice command system the first time you play, then speak normally. The voice system is excellent.

They'll issue a patch for Endwar to fix some things, but they won't issue a patch to fix the Single Player Master achievement in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

Something just does not make sense, Ubisoft.

This game is actually really, really good. If you don't like RTS games you won't start now... well maybe you will, because it's stoopid easy to issue commands.

It does seem this game didn't get much attention, possibly due to all that released near it. I stopped playing it myself when ah went gears craaaazy. Considering how well world in conflict did on PC though, I'm still surprised. But it really is good, and the persistant world battle is always cool. Also I'm all about modern battle. I can't handle even one more ww2 game w a single shot rifle. ugh.

Picked this up from PlayAsia for 24 bucks shipped, using the CAG discount. Should be here soon, and I'm looking forward to playing it.
