So is there any reason that they couldn't have left the bongo controls in there?

That's an excellent question that I demand the answer to!

I still have the GC version and bongo set, so this one may be a pass.

I did, however noticed a health set in the video...

I noticed that too.

Also, the graphics have a lot more detail.

I feel a bit ripped off- considering I got it for the GC for 50$ (not including bongos)

Why couldn't Nintendo replicate the bongos with the balance board? It would be easy to make some software for that to be compatible, lazy Nintendo...

Oh, seriously, this game was hard enough on your hands while continually slapping those nice rubbery bongo drums. If you were made to slap the balance board instead... trust me, your hands would be goners in mere minutes.

Plus, how would you do the 'clap' maneuver?

Umm, yea, I'll stick with the bongo-controlled version.

I got the GC game, and two sets of bongos for $11, i think i'll pass on this.

BTW: that video player is a pile of crap. It can't seem to make it 12 seconds without needing to pause to buffer. what is this, 1998?
