Has anyone explained why some games get such long delays between North American and European releases (assuming European includes English)?

On a multiplayer game (like Brawl), I can understand because there's probably server updates to make (although Europe has a better network infrastructure than the States). But single player games?

Woot woot this is great news. This is one of the titles that will be the highlight of next year. If only Arc Rise Fantasia had a release date too.

See, I had ULTRA high hopes for this game because the art is jaw-dropping and the action looked SWEET in motion. But after I saw in a gameplay vid that the whole game was just traveling from screen to screen fighting a bunch of badguys and getting a score for it (a la Okami), I worry about how repetitive it'll get. Hopefully that's not all the game is about. I'm hoping for large sprawling levels more akin to Odin Sphere. Am I asking too much?

I don't know whether to be happy or sad about the fact that none of the games you listed are made by Nintendo

Happier for the growing 3rd party support, i suppose, but still

Do you really expect a bunch of action games from Nintendo?

I'm looking forward to this game; however, I would need to see some reviews and a lot more gameplay footage before I'd drop $40-$50 on it. That being said, I really like the style.

Man, this is probably my most anticipated title... well, one of them. I really hope it isn't just running from one screen to the next fighting a group of guys, and then moving on.

I was under the impression that there was a demo that made it seem that way, but it will really flow a lot better. I hope so. Also, the demo moves rapidly from one environment to the next, but that was just to show off some variety in a short demo, so I think there may be longer levels like a traditional platformer...
