M&Ms racing gave me a massive headache from the graphics. That was one of the worst games I have every played.

I'm playing Flower, Sun, and Rain at the moment and it really does take me back to the early Saturn/PS1 attempts at 3D. It's not a looker that's for sure. There's even a point in the game when a character breaks the fourth wall and actually says this game looks, and plays, archaic - or something like that.

But I persevere due to the intriguing drip-drop storyline, messy as it is.

As a DS owner, I've grown more tolerant of less than stellar graphics, especially when it comes to 3D. As long as it plays well enough I'll give it a genuine go.

SPORE for the DS.

At first I thought yay!

But then I got it and its just lazy. Its a lame game trying to piggy back off a giant.

I dont see why they couldn't just make 3D characters, that alone would have made it look better, instead of some lame 2D character in a 3D environment. And not the good kin of 2D character, like ragnarok online, Its like Paper mario characters in a sonic 3D adventure environment

So is Tony Hawk's Motion (featuring HUE PIXEL PAINTER!!!) supposed to be an example of good or bad 3D graphics on the DS? While I'm definitely waiting until Motion hits the bargain bin, I played through the DS version of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, which doesn't look all that different from what I saw in the Motion trailer, and the environments were graphically on par with ToI or any of the other standards for DS 3D.

Man...I just played through the first level of Deep Labyrinth last night. For some reason, the screenshots of this game look WAAAAYYY better than they do in real life. The graphics are some of the most jagged, pixilated visuals I've ever seen on a DS game. Besides that, the response time for the game makes it handle like a diesel truck. If you press on the directional pad, it takes the main character like one second to even react, which is rather annoying and sucks because otherwise, this may have been a decent game.

Really? I haven't had a problem with the game's response time, just the graphics. Besides that, what makes me sad is that the game actually has a very good story, but poor gameplay. I'd imagine that in the right hands, it would make a decent manga. Maybe.

Assassin's Creed was just downright ugly. It needed bilinear filtering at a minimum.

Viewtiful Joe, while a fun game, was also rather ugly. They tried to bring the cel-shaded comic look from the Gamecube in to the DS, but the texture resolution just wasn't there. Things looked more like awkaward cardboard cutouts than a comic book in motion.

DS games with bad graphics: The vast majority of the 3D ones. As examples, Spectrobes and Away Shuffle Dungeon come to mind. But then again, Spectrobes was just a terrible game all around. Come to think of it, I don't know why I ever even tried it.

Am I late to this party? I thought Dementium looked like poop. Played like poop too. Sad because the music and sound effects absolutely rocked.

I have to agree there, although not on the controls: once you get used to them, they aren't too bad. The music did it, though.

To stick with the topic, and the horror theme: Theresia. Although I love the story, and the drawing-cut scenes are very pretty, the general environment looks like an early version of Doom. Badly rendered 3D model. The drawings of the rooms, however, are great, but since you spent most of your time walking through the hallways, that doesn't help much.
