So which is it? Did you buy it or did she get it for you as an early xmas gift? You're failing on so many levels.

Oh yeah, base your PS3 experience on an old game no-one played.

I dl'd and installed Home last night, but wasn't able connect (server timed out errors). So I played GoW2 on Insane instead until midnight.

hopefully will get a chance to check it out...maybe meet some ppl to play R2...

Am I missing something? The chat and friends and video and everything can be done via the much faster XMB without the bizarre looking avatars and micro transactions. This is just a bloat of 3gb on my HDD for advertisements and lines to play bowling (?!?).

I dunno, maybe I'm getting old, I just don't see the point. Maybe once there is some content to be had.

Just popped over to Penny Arcade, and they seem to echo my sentiments.

"it is nothing more than a cumbersome menu"

Eloquently put.

What the hell is your argument there? My wife PURCHASED a Ps3 as an early xmas gift, grammar nazi much? At least I tried it out instead of bashing it with no 1st hand experience.

The sdf is out in full force today....lol. U know something is bad when you're best defense is that a week isn't enough time to get a feel for how a system is.

I don't blame them, if you didn't like Home, just say it wasn't for you, who much cares about the rant you made is beyond me. Thats just fanboy attention seeking as far as I'm concerned.

So in a sense its Sony defence force against Xbox attack force. You're no better then they are.

And believe me you must have serious time on your hands if you entered an article of something you don't like, I always find that sad or attention seeking, I can't remember the last time I entered an article of a game I didn't like just to tell people I didn't like it like they cared about my opinions, thats a waste of time and energy.

I liked my experience in Home (when I finally go on), but I doubt I'll be using it often unless it keeps growing, no doubt it will, so thats even silly to say. Anywho, was good, keep up the work Sony, have lotsa improvements, but I can see a good future for home if the right steps are taken.

"crowded around the few female avatars that showed up and led the mob that chased them across the plaza and through the mall when they tried to escape"

Suckers. The trick is to pretend like you're not interested. Maybe sit in a corner or something.

I gave it a try last night, its pretty intresting, talked with people, played chess, the saucer game and some of the arcade games. But it gets boring quickly.
Sony need to add more pool tables and bowling lanes in the bowling alley.

Hopefully they add more content soon, it has alot of potential though

Yeah I don't get the concept of waiting in line for ANYTHING in Home, especially when you can't watch what people are doing, at least not on the arcade games.

The billiards and bowling, sure you can watch people bowl, but that's only fun and relatively interesting if, you know, you're PLAYING with them.
