DS Daily: Misleading displays of fandom

Do you ever want to buy an item associated with a particular game series even if you don't really care for that series?

For example, I don't really play Dragon Quest games that much (basic inability to make the time commitment required of RPGs), but I am way into Slime stuff, and I adore Hori's Slime accessories, from those styli to the newly-revealed Slime Speaker Stand. I guess that makes me a poser? I don't care. Slimes are adorable.
