Item Finder. I need solidity in this uncertain world and this title certainly provides it. Must buy.

Honourable mentions:

Animal Boxing
Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ
Touch the Dead

God, it's actually called Item Getter. There goes my concrete belief. Now the world seems so uncertain again.

And here I was thinking that I was the only one that noticed Animal Boxing. The title was so compelling that I almost ordered it without checking out a screenshot or anything. Almost, that is.

I like all the games that proudly proclaim they're a DS game by making "DS" a part of their title. I spent 15 minutes trying to shove Tetris up my nose before I realized it was "Tetris DS". It's all so clear now.

Bonus points for games whose post-colon acronym is DS. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Advanced Wars: Dual Strike, etc.

My favorite title is hands down the Phoenix Wright series. The graphics are great, it's simplistic in design, and the dialogue is top notch. There have only been 1 or 2 cases in the entire series where I've felt let down by the ending.

Some of my other favorite titles are Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory, and The World Ends With You.

You're right on the money with Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.

I also think the use of "title" is going to confuse some people here.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is so much better than Gyakuten Saiban or whatever.

That's the only one I can think of.

Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2

It takes time to learn that, and it so ridiclously manly: Burn! hot blooded rhythm spirit. go! fight! ouendan!
(I prefffer not translate ouendan, it sounds better as it is)

+1

About the manliest title in the DS library.

That and;
"Teenage zombies: Invasion of the alien brain thingy's"

Because there's no way to build suspense for a crappy game, then not telling what the alien brain things actually are.

I always liked how The World Ends With You sounded, especially how it shortens to TWEWY.
And Trauma Center, (I was reading an article in the local paper about how this one hospital wanted to cut their trauma centers or something or other and was proud to say, "Yes I know what a trauma center is".) I've liked the sound of that too.

Imagine: Babies (or "Babiez", if that's how they roll)

I want you to consider that, as it would come out of someone's mouth: "Imagine babies." I don't need to, everyone's crankin' them out somewhere. Babies are kinda there, so why do I need to visualize them? "OK, dude, imagine THIS: Babies. All OVER the place! Cah-razy, right?"

... I'unno, just tryin' here. Tingle's and that absurdly long Japanesey name kinda take the cake, but injecting "babies" into something kinda gives it a LOL WUT factor.

Also: GT*O, non-read doofs.

I'm with you on that.

All of the "Imagine" games. It's just such a fantastic title. It's a call to visualize the subject. You have to IMAGINE this thing before you even play the game! That's how intense it is! Imagine rockstar. No, don't play the game, imagine it first. You have to be a rock star in your mind before you can play the game. That's how intense this game is.

Imagine babies. IMAGINE THE DAMN BABIES. You cannot possibly grasp this game about babies until you meditate upon them for a while.

It's brilliant.

I remember annoying a friend while I played Tingle in Wind Waker.

"Ayeoye" [You get distracted by a disembodied voice forcing you to stop whatever you're doing]

Ah, good times.

The absolute best has to be "Touch The Dead". Nothing can touch that (pardon the pun).

There's a lot of other good ones though:

"The World Ends With You"
"Order of Ecclesia", just because "Ecclesia" is fun to say.
"Etrian Odyssey"
"N Plus"
"Nanostray"
"Exit"
"Pass The Pigs" (Yes, that's a real game)
"It's Mr. Pants" (Ok, so it's GBA, not DS, but I had to mention it)
"Dokidoki Majo Shinpan"
"Bangai-O Spirits"
"Izuna - Legend Of The Unemployed Ninja"
"James Pond - Codename Robocod" (Not sure if it counts since it was originally on Genesis)"Luminous Arc"

+1 for Pass The Pigs. That's the greatest game title I ever heard since Irritating Stick! But you shouldn't include Dokidoki Majo Shinpan as it's a japanese title, and if we start including those, the list is going to get waaay too long.
Anyway, I'll add these:
Babysitting Mania
Travel Games For Dummies
Club Penguin Elite Penguin Force
I Did It, Mum Boy/Girl
Flower, Sun and Rain
Shaun The Sheep (nothing too special, but I like how it sounds)
Hell's Kitchen (your mother makes lasagna in hell)
Boing Dokomodake (it's the european title, so it qualifies)

Yeah, Geometry Wars kinda stuck weird on me ("struck" was typed, but "stuck" feels less unright), since I kinda think of it as just basic shapes. I saw it in action of some kind of trippy, flashy shooter, though, but I do give a nod toward its rippling grid background.

I Did It, Mum Boy/Girl, after the second or so for me to work past the Brit-ness of it, had me LOLing. I think you all know the basis for it, but add with it the frankness of children (along with, perhaps, a slight British accent, though I'd like to say that only entered at "Mum"; if this were Wednesday, though, after watching some Zero Punctuation... Anyone here buggered by how little British kids can come off as...well...pompous/little ****s/something you feel compelled to backhand? Maybe it's just the ones used on American TV/movies).

To get back to Imagine Babies: I didn't quite mean it for how it's used in-game, but just the title as a standalone piece of verbage. However, perhaps your take isn't as profound as the truth: the game IS imagining babies.

"The World Ends With You" was a cool title which delivered some awesome gameplay/story.

Based on the title and the publisher I bought it upon first seeing it without knowing what the game was about or anything, and ended up loving every second of that game and have recommended it to everyone I know with a DS.

PROTIP: The "with" in "The World Ends with You" isn't capitalized. Jeebus, why is this so prevalent?

To stay a bit on-topic, it's translated(?) Japanese name is "It's a Wonderful World", wherein I'd totally dig some Louie Armstrong.

I know that teh Wiki[pedia]z had some standard on four-letter conjunctions(?) in titles, IIRC in the err of lowercasing them. However, my buggery stems from what I shall assume is an inherent tendency for gamers to avoid official sites, instead relying on fan communities and third parties for their information. This isn't so much founded as it is interpretted, though.
