Pearl Jam's 'Ten' album coming to Rock Band in March
41
An "exclusive" from Geoff Keighley, who likely read that line from a teleprompter while presenting live from the Spike VGAs: Pearl Jam's "Ten" album is coming as a Rock Band downloadable album in March. That should be just enough time for you to find the appropriate amount of flannel to wear while you play.

It would be a cool move to include it free in the re-release in a higher up package.

Uhh uuugh HOAAAAGH damn finlly done ejaculating!!
Awesome! I can sell my Gyuitar hero 3 now since the only reason I kept it was because it had "Even flow" on it.
People please refrain from smashing your plastic guitars when playing "Jeremy" and "Evenflow" back to back....

I can't wait. It's funny, I was thinking last night that I wish that Ten would come to RB. Seriously, just last night I was thinking this. I can't wait to play Black.

a) All RB DLC is for both games.
b) You don't need the new instruments for RB2.

Dude, if you have a full RB setup and don't have RB2 yet, then you seriously need to get on the ball. ;)
Buy the stand-alone RB2 game, pay $5 to load the RB1 tracks to your hard drive, and you will be happy. Mark my words, you will be happy.

Yeah. Honestly, I work at Blockbuster and we take RB1 for $25 here. Don't know about any other places. But for $60+$5-$25=$40 for a shitload of more songs and a better interface (especially for albums like this.) And right now at my blockbuster at least, RB2 is selling for $45. So you could get it for $25. Sweet deal.

I honestly thought Ten was their only good album. The rest are ok really, but not riveting. But saying Ten is good is an understatement. It's fuckin' AMAZING.
I look forward to this so, so much.

I remember I invited this girl from my church's youth group to my birthday party and she gave me the best gifts which included Pearl Jam's Ten, some Silly String and some kind of velcro mits to catch a tennis ball. But I'll always remember listening to that album while playing Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition for the Sega Genesis.
That's why I love the Xbox 360 because now I can play that album while playing Street Fighter all from 1 device.

Can't wait, but personally I would love the version of Black from Live on Two Legs. That had one hell of a guitar solo at the end, and would be awesome to play in Rock Band.

Losers: Anyone who has to sing the vocal track "Eddie Vedder" Style.
Winners: Everyone Else.
Uhmm Yaaaah Ohhhhhhhhh Ahhhhh Mmmmmm YAH YAH YAH YAH YAH Ooooh ahhhh...Wohhhhhhhhhhhh Naaaa Mmmmmmmm....
(oh wait, that's the lyrics to Why Go...)
(Real winners: everyone who gets to rock out to Porch. Only "State of Love and Trust" rocks harder)

I'd forgotten how stupid that album cover is. Thanks for the reminder, Joystiq.

An undisputed classic from my generation. I still can't believe I was 12 years old when this album was released!
So many powerful memories attached to this album. "Black" alone is worth the price for me.
But that's just me.

This.
HOWEVER, consider my pants soiled nonetheless. While their later whiny political stuff has turned to garbage I'd put Pearl Jam's first 10 years against any other band's without a doubt.
I'm going to climb something every time I sing Porch.

Absolutly unbelievable. any pearl jam album would be worth buying for RB but this is their most popular.Personally would rather have vs. Go, Blood, Leash, Rats, Dissident, Indifference, Rearviewmirror, but we cant have it all.

I wish they did not have to censor the lyrics..."What the **** is this world coming to..." "Seemed a harmless little ****..." "She's been diagnosed by some stupid ****..."
