Fanswag: Tecmo two pack

Are you all ready for another fanswag giveaway? We've got a pair of Tecmo titles up for grabs in Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff and Robocalypse. We're running this giveaway starting today and ending Sunday, December 21st at 11:59pm ET. The winner will be selected the following day via random drawing. To enter, simply tell us what your favorite Tecmo game of all time is (check here if you need something to jog your memory)!

One lucky reader will walk away with a copy of Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff ($30) and Robocalypse ($30). Of course, we've got a couple of rules. For one, you have to be at least 18 years of age and a current and legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). Also, you may only enter once per day. Before entering, make sure you read the official rules right here, too!

Gotta go with NES Tecmo Bowl...though I was constantly lit up by friends on that game.

Gotta' go with the first Monster Rancher for the Playstation - the one that gave you monsters by putting CDs into the machine.

I remember my mother had a wrapped Princess Diana-tribute album, and I had read that having the game read that album specifically would net me a rare-as-balls monster - I wanted to crack open that CD so baaaadly! But my mother wouldn't take off the wrapping, so no rare monster for me.

Wotta' drag.

My favorite? The original Ninja Gaiden for the NES. I don't know how many hours I spent bouncing between walls.

For me, it's gotta be Tecmo Bowl. I still dream in scrolling football fields and 16 colors!

Ninja Gaiden for sure. I love me some Ninja Gaiden. It makes gutting people left and right fun! :D

Tecmo Baseball! Although Tecmo Bowl and the NES Ninja Gaiden are awesome, more hours of my life were spent on Tecmo Baseball than probably any other video game ever. Even to this day!

'Duncan' and his 2.39 era....sweet.

I probably played the heck out of Fire 'N Ice more than anything. That was a cool (no pun intended) puzzle game!

Rygar, loved that game so hard back in the wee days.

First answer? Tecmo Super Bowl...hands down.

I'm going to have to go with Tecmo Super Bowl as well.

I just remember all of the insane games with my old friend Josh. You know, where you'd have the ball at the 50, run all the way back to the opposite endzone, and then throw the ball all the way to the other endzone for a touchdown. Yeah, that was way too rawkin' cool!

Ninja Gaiden. One of the very first Nintendo games I remember playing with my friends.

Tecmo Super Bowl for shizzy! You can't beat passing from the end of one endzone all the way tothe other for TDs over and over and over again all day long!

Hmmm... Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, although I do have to admit a fondness for Solomon's Key

The original Ninja Gaiden (NES) was amazing. So was Tecmo Bowl. Now I have the opening theme to Tecmo Bowl stuck in my head.

it is a tie between tecmo bowl and super bowl...i like super bowl's more in depth control, but bowl is just plain fun!

Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition.

It's everything Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff should've been.

I really thought the monster rancher games were awesome because of the disc reading but I never got the chance to get one.

My favorite has always been the original Rygar. I did enjoy the PS2 sequel though.

I'm surprised there is so much excitement over Tecmo Bowl and not more over Ninja Gaiden.

Allow me to be the first one to say Dead or Alive on the PS1, back in those days.

Star Force was pretty great.

I found Fire 'n Ice at a flea market last year and played part of the way through it. On top of being my favorite Tecmo game by default (it's the only one I've ever played) it's actually really good.

I have 3 top Tecmo games.

Tokobot PSP
Ninja Gaiden xbox
Ninja Gaiden Shadow GB

but alas, Tokobot is my favorite Tecmo game, and it wins out on top of the two Ninja Gaidens I enjoyed because it was far less frustrating :)

NES Tecmo Bowl. Super Tecmo Bowl was more balanced and with better graphics, but I'll still go with the original.

The original Ninja Gaiden. Even though it kicked my ass hard.

I've always liked the Gallop Racer games...for some reason.

Nothing beats the ninja gaiden trilogy on the SNES.

Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom

Tecmo Super Bowl, hands down

Tecmo Bowl, the original arcade version. I actually never played any of the other versions.

Stackers was kind of fun too though.

Tecmo Super Bowl and Ninja Gaiden. Honorable Mention: Tecmo Super NBA Basketball, though I don't think this game was critically acclaimed like the others.

Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)! Sure there were 8 plays, but really the only choice was between "Barry Right" and "Barry Middle".

I would have to go with Deception, one of those forgotten games which could really use a remake on the next-gens. Perfect for all those Saw fans...

I love the Monster Rancher games, especially the second one. The others didn't hook me as well.

My favorite Tecmo game of all time has to be Ninja Gaiden on the original XBOX. Such a phenomenal game.
