I can only hope the nickel-and-diming for content will be somewhat offset by free stuff here and there, but I'm not really kidding myself into believing that.

all of the new areas including their games are free. So far clothing and decorations are all that is pay, quite trivial stuff anyways.

Yeah, I got booted and had continious log in errors (D5207) for the first time in Home today. Usually just closing Home and restarting it fixed it, but so far I can't log in at all now.

Someone wake me up when there's something to do in home.

Yeah where are the three years of development here? What are we supposed to be doing in it? It seems pointless with even the game launching! Launch an app to launch your game? Can someone please tell me what's the plus side here?

Even the almighty PS2 did not have 'thousands of games' two years in. How quickly people forget when all those amazing titles were coming out in the system's lifespan.

Hey Justice,

Quit trolling the PS3 forums and go back to your Xbox dungeon. You people have WAY too much time on your hands, and outta get a life. At least you aren't a threat to procreate...

Alas, being silent is what Sony is best at doing. I only wish they'd put half that energy into Home development.

Still, I'm enjoying the mini-games that come with Home. I only wish they'd include a few more arcade machines. Surely it can't be that hard to add them. Hopefully they'll fix this in the patch.

dude don't you know if you criticize anything about the ps3 you automatically are an xbot. duh.

it's kinda like on the socom boards if you criticize anything there you are automatically a call of duty fan (average socom player term for a piece of crap n00b).

people are retarded.

damnit now i gotta go back and play icebreaker.

on a side note:

seriously the only "game room" that was ok was the farcry 2 room, it had manacala. other than that the rooms are pretty dumb, there's really no reason to leave the bowling alley.

Actually, the way Ted worded it was that the patch would be "the first step in tackling the connection issues that you'll know as C-931 errors." It won't necessarily fix them completely.

Yeah, I noticed that too. PS3Fanboy, why such a obvious misquote? Hoping for a new flamewar tomorrow if the patch turns out to not make all log in issues a thing of the past?

Why are you a Xbox idiot, a Nintendo nerd og something else, if you don't like the PS3? I loved my PSX and the PS2 was, more or less, the best console ever imo. Still I think the PS3 is somewhat the worst thing ever happened to me.

I am big Sony fan, and my hope is, that they'll listen those who actually dare to tell the truth. I have never been so bored with a console, and I did start gaming with the C64 and have had almost any console since then.

Maybe you are just growing older? And most games are still targeted at young teens? If you have been playing games since the days of the C64 it is not surprising that the novelty of it is starting to wear off.

Maybe.

But I still play like 4-6 hours a day. Mostly on the 360, but also on the PC and my Wii. Only the PS3 seems to get all dusty. When I get friends over, they usualy never wanna use the PS3 (though I do have most of the so called must-haves).

I just think that it is possible, that some (or most ppl I know) just don't like the PS3 and think it is a waste of time. But still we like Sony and loved PSX and PS2.

For the record, I am a gamer. I use my consoles for gaming. I do not need a mediacenter (since a have a PC). Maybe if I didn't have a PC, it might be possible I would use my PS3 a bit more.

Sorry, not trying to start an argument, but I am curious as to why the PS3 is the worst thing to happen to you and why you are so bored with it.
I own the PS3 and to be honest think its the best thing since sliced bread. I have a varied selection of game genres and plenty of 'casual' games from the PSN, also love the blu-ray and the capability of playing divx movies.
I have to say, over the years, I've owned loads of systems including the sega systems, atari systems & sony systems although I've never owned or intend owning a m$ system.
Of all those systems I agree that the PS2 was the best, but the PS3 is better, but this is just my opinion.
Just curious as to the reasons for your comments.

A fair question :)

Btw, if you like your PS3, im nothing but happy for you.

As said, I am a gamer, I need my console for playing games. So whatever features it might have, besides playing games, is not something that I use too much.

The thing is, that while there might be some "ok" games for me on the PS3, I feel I get better on the others platforms. Some of the multiplatform games have had some problems on the PS3, and before we got throphies, I liked to buy games for the 360 to get achievements (and play with my friends, since most of them have 360'ies). I also better like the 360 controller.

The main reason however, is the games. The only exclusive game on the PS3 that i RLY liked was Uncharted (that game was one of the best games last year imo). I hated MGS4 and Resistance 1 and 2 just didn't worked for me. LBP is great fun, yes, but for some reason I only played it for a week, then it got boring.

One the other hand, a lot of the Wii/360 (and PC, since I play WoW) games have entertained me for a very long time this year/last year. So in the end, Im just not entertained by the PS3. It might be me, but I also hear the same story for my friends and on a lot of sites.

Wish i could just see the icon for Home on my XMB - I don't even have that. And it seems I managed to stump 3 tiers of Sony tech support last night in attempts to fix it - all of which failed and still no icon. I really hope they put a direct download in the shop to get around the lack of icon. Or at least a firmware patch that fixes this somehow...

~_~ not cool Sony, not cool.

I don't think it really matter. Home is obviously stupid, and it's a waste of time.

Can't wait for the new stores and spaces open up. I know Sony is working hard on making things stable. But, I am really interested in the Red Bull space and more arcade games. A full length old movie wouldn't hurt either.

Haven't had issues at the beginning (EU).

For a feel-free-to-use free add-on this is quite cool.

Don't like it, don't use it. I think there's nothing mo' to say about 'Home'.
