Paramount searching for new games honcho

Paramount is in search of a new executive to head its gaming initiative. Variety reports that the studio is currently looking for someone to replace the outgoing VP of interactive and mobile, Sandi Isaacs. The movie industry site speculates that Paramount is trying to get a high-profile gaming exec. to run the publishing unit.

Games based on Iron Man and Saturday Night Fever were released on iPhone last week, with casual titles based on Pretty in Pink, Clueless and Mean Girls planned for the future. Variety has also "heard rumblings" of bigger projects beyond 2010, but no details were given.

With that horrible list of movies to games I can do the job. lets be honest, whoever does it will be making crap, so why not let me get the paycheck for it!?

Sadly, with the amount of lay-offs around the gaming industry, they'll have plenty of candidates to the job.

HippoHero best eater.
Can hold breath for 5 minutes.
Sleep underwater.

HippoHero think he is good candidate for job. He work very hard and has good idea for new Wille Wonka game and movie starring himself. Will also work on HippoHero adventures 2. Will need office to be mostly underwater. He hope to be consider for job.

Oh wait... they want a high profile guy? Uh, is that a good idea? Most of the available high profile guys that are available are because their companies folded.

Why don't they go with somebody that actualy likes games and can see a stinker BEFORE it gets a year and millions into development?
