PSA: 'Parts' of PSN down for maintenance this morning
9
The official PlayStation blog is reporting that "parts of the PlayStation Network" will be down this morning for regularly scheduled maintenance. Here at Joystiq HQ, we can't seem to log in to the Store, and some of us are reporting newly found issues connecting to Home, but the friends list and messaging seem to be working just fine. We'll keep an eye on things and let you know when everything's back up and running.

When logging into Home last night the message said that Home would be down this morning.

Ah, Warhawk. That was a great game. My main issue with it was that not many used their headsets, and the voice quality wasn't so well, but it was an early title, so I guess it's alright. For me, it's all about SOCOM :)

Well, apparently my dear wife missed the message on Home last night, cause I just spent 20 minutes diagnosing why our PS3 couldn't connect via the phone. Would be nice if Sony could rig up something like what Apple does when they take the store down. Just a Post-It note letting you know it's on their end, not yours.
