Rumor: Square Enix's next MMO unveiling at E3 2009

wow another game for the 2011. Its really nice of them to show us teasers but dont tease a game that will be released in 2 year.

"we're not going to make something that'll be exactly like FFXI". I was hoping FFXI intact, no update, no difference, ahhh man.

Is it coincidence that the next unannounced Dragon Quest game will be the eleventh numbered entry?

Its going to be Final Fantasy Online XIII watch and see. An MMO in the FFXIII universe.

I think Square Enix should stick to finishing their current lineup of games in progress before they go hyping about new ones coming out 5 years from now.

I heard quite a while ago that Squares next MMO was being developed for PC and Xbox only but who knows, nothing is known about this mysterious game at all.

I am both shocked and amazed that Square is announcing another game that will, maybe, ship 2-3 years from now.

I wonder if it will be the first cross-platform MMO, or whether or not Square will piss into the mouths of ps3 owners by proclaiming PC/360 exclusitivity. -_-

I am 100 % sure will be 360 exclusivity, remember this year E3. Square Enix hate PS3 and together with Microsoft want kill SONY

OK maybe I was to hard but ps3 is more than 2 years on the market and we do not get any game from SE (even weak port ) only disappointment - loss FF13 exclusivity :-(

if we all really want kingdom hearts 3 on ps3, then we must support final fantasy versus 13, because the team who makes kingdom hearts is making versus 13. so we must all show support, and if you want to say screw the regular final fantasy 13

People think Square love the 360 but what does it have really? FF XI is only on 360 because it was an easy port Square have said this. To make it for PS3 they would have to re-build the whole game. The Last Remnant is on PS3 the reason for the delay is because of the awful unreal engine. Star Ocean has never not once been announced as exclusive, it is on Xbox because it was the leading platform at the time it started development, and its not actually a square enix game, Infinite Undiscovery again not a square game so dont know why people are crying. Square only published it. The Xbox dosent have many Square Enix games, there are still more square games on playstation formats. The PS3 will get its share of them don't worry. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be a PS3 game. We all know Square Enix take their time with games and this is the only reason the PS3 has none yet. It is not because they have something against the brand or sony.

As long as it's no subscription, I'm all in! I loved playing XI, but after my 1 month free trial...blah. I don't have much time to play(about 5 hours a week), and I felt my money was just being wasted.

i just hope it allows for more of a single player experience as well as multiplayer like WoW did

FFXI HD remake or some other MMO similar to FFXI is a dream come true. I love that game + $60 dollars with no monthly fee is so much better.

Based on this, the new MMO RPG by Square Enix is going to be released for XBox360 and Windows Vista.
But they(Square Enix) are not sure if they're going to make it compatible for the PS3.

Really sad to hear this. But looking at PS3 sales being in last place World Wide, I can't blame Square Enix for this...

I was guessing this would happen, looking at Square Enix releasing RPGs only for the XBox360 and making FFXIII a non-exclusive for other countries besides Japan...
