Multiplayer works just fine for me. Longest I've waited to get into a match in the last week was 1 minute. No glitches or lag. Are you all on dial up or something?

GoW2 just wasn't that big of a deal to me... graphics better, sure, but the gameplay was the same as 1. Been enjoying L4D far more.

What was that CliffyB mentioned about not liking multiplayer betas? There's a reason why there are betas man. Maybe you'll think twice when you put out Gears 3 (provided you don't lose cred from Gears 2 - oh wait...).

I am so happy too read this, i sold my collectors edition bycos of all the glicthes,bugs and lag switches. I even sold gears 1, if they even make a 3 i dont even know if i gone buy it .Bycos the last gears was crap even the strory, all of the new charters are dead wtf. I played till 3am last night. Used to have big waiting issues, not so much anymore. Never over 2 minutes.
I found you have to get over the hump when playing, it takes about an hour to get over .500 k/d ratio consistently, once you start rolling the game is a lot of fun. I don't think I could ever go back to cod4 or halo, too old for me.
Once you have a good match send an invite to everyone and have a party of 5 going.

One of the main things they need to fix is balancing. For instance on Hail one team always gets nades while the other gets poison because it rotates every side, not so much fun when true skill has the top team getting the nade side every round.

Does anybody realize that Gears of War 1 went through the same thing? Good lord people.. I don't know if it's sad or just stupid. Give it time.. it's already being worked on..

i find gears online to be very fun, until you get a match of chainsawers.
i still have not figured out a tactic to kill them except rollling backwards and HOPING that the chainsaw doesnt catch me in mid air, flip me around, and cut me in half.
im pretty sure once i get the submission acheivement though, ill be going back to halo.

gee could it because the game is freakin broken to start. then they want ten bucks for 3 maps only a month after the games release. Thats a joke. Whoever decied that can go pound sand.

CoD:WW is glitchy, too. People are still constantly under the damn maps. It's not Treyarch's fault there isn't a patch yet; I think it takes a long time to get through MS's certification process.

the matchmaking is not the issue anymore, certainly not mine. My issue is everything else on GOW2.

TRUE SKILL:pointless due to the fact there is a host who has perfect everything and when they find out that they are host they take full advantage of it...and so they should as its hard enough to kill anything with all the lag....may as well enjoy the time you get with no lag.

people at rank 4 and 5 quit matches early when they find out they are not host. ive met a good few people who are ranked 4&5 and they are kool people. but the new gears low is that signing out if your not host.....how are we ment to rank up if thats your interest.

CHAINSAW: just because they come up with an idea to stick a chainsaw at the end of a gun does not mean its kool to run around maps holding the B button. and when you get chainsawed its so cheap its as if your character just opens up his arms and lets him right in. This could be fixed with the same idea of the chainsaw duel. just to stop all those amazing true skill players running around with the B button pushed in....yeah thats trueskill.

GLITCHES: there is millions and millions of fantastic in your face glitches that is slowly wiping people out and funnily enough having the urge to shove there GOW2 disc into cliffy B's face. I AM ONE OF THEM.

2PEICEFEST: due to the spastic blaster (shotgun) being so inconsistent the game has turned into a elbow fest with the host being able to beat your 1st melee while the rest of us hope the guy that breaks our jaw cant shoot for his life.

TAGGIN: the idea was cute to begin with now its as tactical as a cripple in a cage. especially on those territory games.

SMOKE: makes your enemy have a small jerky seizure while he teleports behind you when he stands up and kil....chainsaws you. they never lie still or Die after we get the active reload and mash them to death.

centimetre shot: your practically so close to your enemy that your in his pocket and txt his wife to tell him he wont be home for dinner as his face is coming right off.....WRONG!!! shotgun at centimetre away from enemy should result in red paint and stew....not me getting a broken jaw.

DLC: NO!!

gears 2 is one of the worst games i have ever played too many glitchs and the multi player is so broke its lagy as hell and even if you do get a good host as soon as you start to win people quit out y epic you guys are so lost gears 1 was good aND YOU GUYS HADE TO MAKE A ASS OUT OF UR SELF BY COMEING OUT WITH THIS TRASHHHHHHHHH COD4 ALL DAY GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY YOU CAN HAVE THIS THANG YOU CALL A GAME BACK
