^ Clearly you're a moron who has no idea what he is talking about, since this game introduce NO new Pokémons.

I love how people hate that there are more than 150 pokemon.

Come on, How many animals exist on earth?

I think of pokemon as the equivalent of animals in that word. even if there were 1,000 pokemon, that wouldn't be enough.

Yes. Also, what about those who already caught 'em all? If new games didn't introduce new Pokémon to collect, what would they buy them for?

The problem with the battling idea is that they make literally NO improvements to the Battle System.

Hell, Ruby to Diamond only gave us animations.

I've got a flashcart. Trackmania isn't that spectacular. It's too hard to see ahead on the track so you can react in time.

Great Q1 for the DS. I'm already sold on Moon, Fire Emblem, and Avalon Code, and I'll probably add at least Pokemon Platinum, Suikoden Tierkreis, Henry Hatsworth, and/or My World, My Way to that list.

I'm especially glad about this because the Wii didn't fare as well. No Disaster or Fatal Frame IV means no Q1 waggling for me.

Augh, how could I forget to mention Flower, Sun, and Rain? I've been looking forward to this game forever.

Also, Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled, Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds Stardust Accelerator: World Championship 2009 and Lux-Pain aren't on this list anywhere, but according to current info they should be out in February, February, and March respectively.

Actually, there's hope. Check this out: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=944570&topic=46863524

I know Gamefaqs is generally a horrible cesspool of inbred, flesh-eating trolls, but Black Sigil is so niche and so obscure that its board is mostly populated by people who actually care about the game. I only lurk there so I don't know if any of these people are infamous liars, but if the information from this person is true, it's Q1 2009 for sure unless Graffiti screws them over at the last moment.

OMG between the wii games of february and march, and all the feebruary games on the ds, I won't have money to eat xD.

I mean, 2 awesome atlus game, Ys (!!!!!) nad My world, my way (the webpage is win, specially the pout button). Marvelous with avalon code. SE with FFCC (the only FF that I like along with tactics, the main series is died for me after VI). And I hope Konami releases suikoden a bit later, because I won't have any money left for it >_> (maybe it's interchangeable with FFCC). Maybe I will import ragnarok ds too.

I already have fire emblem (thanks region free ds).

I'm not interested in pokemon. I catched them all in yellow (except for mew, wich a friend got years later for crystal, but ]I already sold my pokemon silver by then), I also catched them all in silver (again, except for celebi and mew). And I catched them all in ruby (except for deoxys and jirachii). I got every pokemon from the first 3 generations, why I would want more, the games peaked in GSC anyways.

Almost everytime I read a thread on a new pokemon game, there is some loser talking about Gold, Silver, Crystal.

Here's some advice. No matter how many times you mention Gold, Silver, Crystal, Game Freak will NOT remake GSC or let you transfer your GSC pokemon to the current generation.

GSC is an evolutionary dead end ... so just deal with it, and stop constantly posting stuff about GSC. We don't care. Game Freak doesn't care.

Peace.

Sorry, but "peace" my ass. You call anyone who wants a GSC remake a loser and then give some wishy-washy reasoning about the series being a "dead end", whatever that means, and Game Freak just plain not caring? I have a strange feeling you're using "Game Freak" as a rather unusual personal pronoun for "I".

If it irks you so much that lots of people considered it the pinnacle of the Pokemon franchise and would gladly replay them again on a new handheld with updated features, graphics, and compatibility with other current-gen Pokemon games, that's your problem and nobody else's. Just keep your $35 if you're that against the idea and let Nintendo make those of us who aren't strangely embittered toward GSC happy if they ever wish to do so.

Zealot - you should take some anger management classes. And you're gonna need it, because Game Freak will NEVER bring back GSC. :)

Dream all you want ... Hater.

You GSC people are annoying as hell, learn to respect the rest of us and stop whining about something from 100 years ago.

NOT Peace to you Zealot.

My response was appropriate considering how irrational your rant was. If you really cared about peace, you wouldn't be insulting over something so inconsequential as people wanting a remake of a game they like. It's a needless and thoughtless invitation to discord; one which I accept only because it is in defense of many people.

everytime i see the releases for the Wii and DS games or 2009 my wallet cries! but then again my gamer soul rejoices and gets pumped for the games! still can't believe EU got Fire Emblem before the USA! my friends pirated the games and played them on the flashcarts (hence the reason i hate flashcarts) and tease me for not buying a flashcart. i swear it seems like if EU is getting alot more love then the US as of late! >:O

I guess that it has to do with the Dungeon crawler/roguelike hardcore appeal--more likely the low sales-- here in the US that prompted Square Enix to forego Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon's potential US release.

But didn't the Wii version get released here?

I wish North Americans appreciated roguelikes more. It's not like you can claim one genre is stale and repetitive and one isn't. RPGs and FPS's are all in the same boat to awfultown, but people stills enjoy 'em.

How can you improve combat system?? Pokemon has a simple battle system-always has, I wouldn't want it any other way.

And i would actually buy this game if it wasn't an attempt to milk the franchise for more then its worth.

Wasn't Kingdom Hearts dated for March or... was that just me mixing up the Feb Japanese release date?

I'll get platinum. I mean I own both Diamond and Pearl (Pearl was a copy bought used from gamefly) so I could get the exclusive to the version pokemon. Plus, Platinum will have a Battle Frontier like area.

'Our House' sounds interesting.

I know I'm really late in commenting to this but I really feel like kicking Ubisoft over and over for continuously making gender stereotyped games. It's painfully obvious which games are directed towards girls and which are directed towards boys. As a girl that's always played "boy" games I find it offensive.
