Retail: Ubisoft releasing Grey's Anatomy game in March
Several retail listings indicate that a Grey's Anatomy video game will release on PC next March. The beauty of this story is that the game is published by Ubisoft, which recently dropped the rights to a Heroes video game. So ... the top-rated sexcapades of the doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital make for a better video game than the Heroes crew?
If you can't wait until the Ubi title releases in March to get your McDreamy on, there's always the option of downloading Gameloft's mobile version.

Kellydude025 @ Dec 17th 2008 10:31PM
I think i speak for everyone when i say, Finally.
War Machine @ Dec 18th 2008 3:44AM
What would be the objective of the game? Sleep with everyone before time runs out? Or simply sleep with everyone and then regret it?
jumpshot @ Dec 18th 2008 11:28AM
I wonder what the sleeping with everyone game mechanic will look like. Will it use accelerometer functions on the iphone?
Miguel @ Dec 17th 2008 5:06PM
and joystiq readers jump for joy!
HRG @ Dec 17th 2008 5:13PM

Haha, that's what I was thinking. It's hard to determine whether he's being sarcastic or not, because that picture next to the text implies he's ecstatic.
Miguel @ Dec 17th 2008 5:35PM
I am indeed excited! I love grey's anatomy! lol
j/k, i should probably *sarcasm tags next time. lol
Chris Are @ Dec 17th 2008 5:51PM
You really shouldn't. I hate it when people do that.
MagiKarp @ Dec 17th 2008 5:08PM
For some reason, when I saw that cover "art", I thought of Spaceballs. I can hear Yogurt now: "SPACEBALLS: The Video Game." *shrugs* I'd probably try it.

Well no wonder you thought of spaceballs! they look 99% the same!
horngreen @ Dec 17th 2008 5:10PM
I have an idea for a constest here folks. We all post what we think the review score will be and then when the game comes out we'll see who got it right. I think it's fair to say it will NOT be higher than an 8 but probably no lower than a 5. I'll go with a 7 myself.
Brodo @ Dec 17th 2008 5:25PM
Im gonna say a 4.5 on IGN. And thats being generous
Vidikron @ Dec 17th 2008 5:48PM
3.0 on IGN
Jakka ( The Order of Haters of Balance) @ Dec 17th 2008 5:52PM
5-6 normaly...7-8 given enough hype...9-10 if Bethesda makes it into Fallout 4...
Courtney @ Dec 17th 2008 6:07PM
55 on Metacritic.
Haggard @ Dec 17th 2008 6:30PM
10 on 'that guy who gave Heavenly Sword a really high one'
Joeshie @ Dec 17th 2008 11:37PM
IGN loves shovelware, so it will probably get an 8.
Don't believe me? Check out what IGN gave Imagine: Party Babyz

Turd Ferguson (formerly antsmarching) @ Dec 17th 2008 5:15PM
lighten up, guys. we don't know for sure that it's going to be a worthless pile of shit that should never, ever have been made except for one copy that hitler is forced to play in hell.
Turd Ferguson (formerly antsmarching) @ Dec 17th 2008 8:15PM
just kidding. we do know.
NaeemTHM @ Dec 17th 2008 5:16PM
It's all about money. Heroes has lower ratings than Grey's Anatomy so it makes sense for Ubisoft to drop Heroes.
They probably think Grey's huge audience will snatch up the game. Meanwhile, I'm 100% positive more gamers watch Heroes. Who researches this shit for Ubisoft?!
Evan @ Dec 17th 2008 5:35PM
Gamers who watch Heros know that games based on movie/television licenses usually suck, and will play a AAA-quality original game over a licensed game even if they like the show it's based on.
Grey's audience is probably more easily swayed by the license than the quality of the game. And, it probably costs a lot less to make a game that meet's Grey's casual audience's expectations than Hero's more hardcore audience's expectations.
Ubisoft is just picking the lower hanging fruit ignored by most other developers, instead of battling it out over the higher hanging fruit. It's kind of like what Nintendo did - sell to casual and family audience and let the other companies blow their budgets fighting over the hardcore gamers.
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Dec 17th 2008 9:13PM
EVAN! YOUR LOGIC! YOU'RE BREAKING MY INTERNET!
Phil @ Dec 18th 2008 5:37AM
@Evan: That's only true for some titles...
I'd kill for a Third Person Supernatural game, granted the plot is at a point now where it might be unnecessary.
Erluti @ Dec 17th 2008 5:21PM
But what would you do in a Heroes video game? Pout, whine, and cry the whole time?
Or maybe you can knock out the villain with a chalk board?!
serotoninzero @ Dec 18th 2008 3:02PM
I hate that this makes sense.
Duke @ Dec 17th 2008 5:22PM
Collective *moan*
McFly @ Dec 17th 2008 5:38PM
I hope they bring Denny Ducet into the game as well, only so that I can blow his grinning ass to hell.
pat1202003 @ Dec 17th 2008 5:39PM
If they are going to have a Grey's Anatomy game, then I want a House game.
Courtney @ Dec 17th 2008 6:09PM
A House point-and-click adventure might actually be entertaining for a couple of hours, but I think that's as far as it would go for me.
ill trooper @ Dec 17th 2008 5:47PM
I CAN PLAY AS MCDREAMY?
Chin-Poh @ Dec 17th 2008 5:50PM
I want a Scrubs game, if there isn't one already.
tmacairjordan87 @ Dec 17th 2008 7:46PM
Hell yeah. They can use Mass Effect's dialog tool to choose Dr. Cox's rants.
Snowblind @ Dec 17th 2008 8:22PM
The newer episodes of Scrubs sucks, but that one joke they made about Grey's Anatomy was brilliant, when Elliot says.
"I love that show, it's exactly like our lives".
Take that all you shows copying Scrubs :P
Phil @ Dec 18th 2008 5:38AM
Scrubs is still funny, I dunno what your problem is. o_O
I quite look forward to Season 8 on ABC.
AwesomeTown @ Dec 18th 2008 7:30AM
Nah, I was really disappointed with last season.
Soulcrux42 @ Dec 17th 2008 5:56PM
Is it just me, or had Ubisoft become the EA of the current industry?
Deck @ Dec 17th 2008 6:10PM
I think, that it is just you. Sure they have released some "meh" games.
But they have also released some quality games such as Prince of Persia, Far Cry 2, Assassin's Creed and so forth.
Cephas @ Dec 17th 2008 6:05PM
Kill it with fire!
Phil @ Dec 17th 2008 6:18PM
The saddest thing? You know that Gamestop will be pushing you to pre-order it.
Phil @ Dec 18th 2008 7:23AM
With a limited edition pre-order gift which will probably be a voucher code for a 15 minute or full preview for the premier of next season at ABC.com. :P
TAKING ALL BETS NOW ON THE PROBABILITY OF THIS COMING TRUE.
ChomskyKnows @ Dec 17th 2008 6:47PM
was the cast of ER (whoever that is anymore) busy?
Sirch @ Dec 17th 2008 6:52PM
Will probably be a McSteamy pile-o-shit
KrisnWo420 @ Dec 17th 2008 7:03PM
Sadly, my sister, who's obsessed with this show, already knows about it. And she's ordered me to give her my Wii. (this pile of crap is also coming out for DS and Wii, as she's told me; and I refuse to let her have my DS)
Frankly, I'm not playing the Wii, so sure, why not.
UltimateQ @ Dec 17th 2008 7:41PM
Sounds Craptastic!
Christian @ Dec 17th 2008 8:14PM
wtf?!
Misfit Toy @ Dec 17th 2008 9:36PM
I generally love everything that Ubisoft puts out...but this is shameful.
Yatcho @ Dec 17th 2008 10:23PM
I'm not expecting much gameplay at all beyond sleeping around with all the interns
kacex @ Dec 18th 2008 5:50AM
I want my Heroes game now!!! YaTaaaaaaaa!!
