Several retail listings indicate that a Grey's Anatomy video game will release on PC next March. The beauty of this story is that the game is published by Ubisoft, which recently dropped the rights to a Heroes video game. So ... the top-rated sexcapades of the doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital make for a better video game than the Heroes crew?
If you can't wait until the Ubi title releases in March to get your McDreamy on, there's always the option of downloading Gameloft's mobile version.

What would be the objective of the game? Sleep with everyone before time runs out? Or simply sleep with everyone and then regret it?

For some reason, when I saw that cover "art", I thought of Spaceballs. I can hear Yogurt now: "SPACEBALLS: The Video Game." *shrugs* I'd probably try it.

I have an idea for a constest here folks. We all post what we think the review score will be and then when the game comes out we'll see who got it right. I think it's fair to say it will NOT be higher than an 8 but probably no lower than a 5. I'll go with a 7 myself.

IGN loves shovelware, so it will probably get an 8.
Don't believe me? Check out what IGN gave Imagine: Party Babyz

It's all about money. Heroes has lower ratings than Grey's Anatomy so it makes sense for Ubisoft to drop Heroes.
They probably think Grey's huge audience will snatch up the game. Meanwhile, I'm 100% positive more gamers watch Heroes. Who researches this shit for Ubisoft?!

Gamers who watch Heros know that games based on movie/television licenses usually suck, and will play a AAA-quality original game over a licensed game even if they like the show it's based on.
Grey's audience is probably more easily swayed by the license than the quality of the game. And, it probably costs a lot less to make a game that meet's Grey's casual audience's expectations than Hero's more hardcore audience's expectations.
Ubisoft is just picking the lower hanging fruit ignored by most other developers, instead of battling it out over the higher hanging fruit. It's kind of like what Nintendo did - sell to casual and family audience and let the other companies blow their budgets fighting over the hardcore gamers.

@Evan: That's only true for some titles...
I'd kill for a Third Person Supernatural game, granted the plot is at a point now where it might be unnecessary.

I hope they bring Denny Ducet into the game as well, only so that I can blow his grinning ass to hell.

If they are going to have a Grey's Anatomy game, then I want a House game.

Hell yeah. They can use Mass Effect's dialog tool to choose Dr. Cox's rants.

With a limited edition pre-order gift which will probably be a voucher code for a 15 minute or full preview for the premier of next season at ABC.com. :P

Sadly, my sister, who's obsessed with this show, already knows about it. And she's ordered me to give her my Wii. (this pile of crap is also coming out for DS and Wii, as she's told me; and I refuse to let her have my DS)
Frankly, I'm not playing the Wii, so sure, why not.

I generally love everything that Ubisoft puts out...but this is shameful.
