Final Fantasy XIII footage makes us forget other JRPGs exist

Role-playing game enthusiasts have very few franchises they consider "classics." Arguably the most important franchise in the genre is Square Enix's Final Fantasy and the latest in the series, Final Fantasy XIII, will eventually land on the Xbox 360. A trailer comprised of footage showcased at the August Square Enix DKS3713 event in Japan has hit the net with newish images of the upcoming game and we're excited. While the footage looks beautiful there are a handful of things that viewers should keep in mind before they press play:

1. The entire trailer is comprised of cut scenes from the game
2. The trailer was developed and released in Japan, where the PlayStation 3 will be the only console to carry the title (hence no mention of the Xbox 360 after the trailer)
   
3. It looks totally rad

Keeping these three crucial pieces of information in mind, enjoy the trailer. Also, enjoy the eventual flame war that will break out in the comments. We know we won't.
