I hate Fairytale of New York. +1000 for the Pogues (or Pouges rather, if you're the dope that posted that video on Youtube) reference (incredible band), regardless.

Carol of the Bells by August Burns Red would be a good (and probably difficult) song and everything.

Then again, there isn't any vocal track to it, so I guess that's bunk.

I think they just wanted an excuse to play the Porky Pig version lol.

There's a 1:08 video on YouTube that supposedly has a clip from the song. According to another video I found, the Pretenders version hasn't really been released, and further videos show that it's a cover and that many people have already played this song, so this might be more of what it will end up sounding like:

Of all the songs from BNL's "Barenaked for the Holidays," they chose this one? Don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but Jingle Bells, Elf's Lament and Green Christmas would have been better choices, IMO. They would have been more fun to play, especially in a group...which has been Harmonix's goal all along.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come for BNL and RB, though =)
