Looking pretty impressive, very nice frame rate and fluid animations. Having all the protagonists wearing black robes might get a bit annoying though.

The graphic looks awesome, they are really trying to utilize the ds hardware to it's fullest, but the battle system looks like the first kh instead of the second where you had battle scene sequence

Yeah, I noticed that, especially after watching the Birth By Sleep video since that one definitely has KH2's battle system.

Come DS Fanboy. This looks WAAAAAY to good to be on DS.
Right?
Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it looks almost 'too' good. If there is no Frame rate problems or Visual Glitches I will buy a hat and eat it in front of the cashier. Then my shoes.

Good from a technical standpoint, and gameplay looks fun. the problem is that I'm not a KH fan, I can't really get into the disney characters (and no pre-FFVII characters make me sad, as I don't like FFVII or olders). And it seems that SE is milking the franchise too much lately. Still, if this is a fun action-rpg for the ds, I will play it anyways.

I dont think that there milking the series. I know where your coming from bu I dont agree. They released the first 2 KH games 4 years apart. And they had the gameboy advance game released sometime in the middle of that. They just released KH:COM for the PS2 but they released that in Japan a very long time ago so that doesnt really count.

Now they have 3 new games coming out, one for the DS, one for the PSP, and one for cell phones. I doubt we will ever see the cell phone game but I dont see a problem with them releasing 2 games for separate gaming consoles. Especially since I doubt we will see a KH3 for the PS3 for at least another yr or two.

Anyways, I love KH and of course Im gonna buy it. Im just waiting on more info about the rumored DSi Bundle.

Milking the franchise would to be to make pointless spinoffs of the series, and to market many different forms of merchandise related to the series.

Square Enix is only doing what needs to be done to advance the plot of the series, and nothing more.

Now, if you saw any Kingdom Hearts characters in any Disney movies, or if you saw them make appearances in other Square franchises, then that's when I would consider calling it milking the series.

Haven't watched the second clip yet, but that counter in the upper-left... a heart count? Looks like Xemnas is a total slave-driver, eh?

Even though I am a KH fan, I'm tempted to call "milking" because of how these new games are being developed and released. But I'm always up for some KH fun...even if this whole "14th Org member girl-thing named Xion" thing makes me want to tear my hair out.

Also, just so I can contradict Matias: Setzer is in KH2 as the Struggle Champion. FF6, yes? Besides that, yes, you are right. There should be more love for the older FFs.
