LittleBigPlanet's MGS pack includes new Trophies, paintball gun

The Metal Gear Solid level pack for LittleBigPlanet we told you about yesterday? It's more than just eye candy; it introduces a new gameplay mechanic.

Specifically, your SackBoys (and girls) will be able to battle enemies (and each other) using paintball guns. There are even Trophies encouraging such harmless behavior among the 11 the pack will add to the game. Another Trophy: Rexecutioner. Yes, you will be able to take on an LBP-ized version of Metal Gear REX. Sony, would you kindly announce a US date?

This is now a definite must buy. The addition of paintball guns could add so many possibilities for new levels and gameplay ideas, this sounds great.

This sounds like its going to be one VERY expensive Add-On.

Worth it? Yes.

Opening new gates to the Add-On hell that is LBP? Yeah, that too...

Shoots and I swore to myself that I wouldn't get any of these pay for costumes. You can't, in good conscious, play these levels without at least the Snake costume.

p.s. Would be sick if you lose the Platinum trophy when you get this level pack.

You don't; Burnout's new DLC Party Pack trophies are already on the PSN server, bumped completion down to 90% but it doesn't take away the Platinum.

Holy crap, that's awesome and thoroughly unexpected.

Awesome, now i can make that Rambo level i've always wanted to do

Can we now say that Media Molecule officially just keeps kicking ass?!

The sweet thing about this DLC is that it's only the beginning. There is still a whole lot more MM can (and will) do with this game.

Just wait until they add water and sand. :)

Sarcasm aside, that is awesome, hope it is easy to control too(contra controlas would work great!)

But will this mean new tech for the bad guys? New options in the baddie menu saying "destroy with paint" or "Destroy by taking bubble"? Maybe even "destroy with # paint balls" and such as that?

If this is the case, I would also love some new feet for the bad guys(pegs and wheels are very limited options, rockets or hover pads please!)

Fuck year.

My favorite kind of year.

I saw these new trophies last night as I was checking my list and was surprised to see them before the DLC were even available. Can't wait to get them tomorrow or tonight this midnight! (PST or EST?)
