Sega has announced that it will be bringing the
Out Run series to current-gen consoles.
OutRun Online Arcade will be available to download from the PlayStation Network Store in early 2009. The game will feature fifteen tracks for you to "rediscover," so we're assuming they're from previous
Out Run games. You'll be racing one of ten cars against up to five other players online.
OutRun Online Arcade will feature an OutRun mode, as well as Heart Attack and Time attack modes. There will also be Trophy support, voice chat and leaderboards. No doubt we'll hear more information about pricing and release date in the new year. In the meantime check out the video after the break and the gallery below.
